You should do a worst rappers in the game look back series where you go back and look at rappers you didn't like at first like Trippie Redd or Lil Pump and see if your opinion has changed.
And migos will go down because of them not changing anything over time.
Maybe we should come up with a name for the series for him them
Worst Rappers In the Game: Revisited?
Writg updated
He would have to do like 4 or 5 rappers in one video though.
Wow, didn't expect number one to be blind for love by kid buu
Yeah because most people already liked it from the start.
And number 2 is die lit
Stop bullying
@Rocco Bontemps and so am I smh
This comment is a lie, day 69 by 6ix9ine was first
Not liking Kendrick's good kid mad city is basically a sin in Hip-Hop.
everyone who doesn't like Kendrick Lamar automatically goes to hell
I dont like Kendrick in general. His voice annoys me
Tyrant X13 I don’t like Kendrick period
@@aaronnieman It's okay. Not everyone can have good taste in music.
Well it hasnt aged well
For me, it's definitely "You Can't See Me" by John Cena and Tha Trademarc
Ah the memories
Noah Babineau lol 😂
Im not joking if you look at it lyrically john cena is better than lil pump😂

Definitely surprised to see total xanarchy on here
I know right
When I saw it at #1 my mind was blown. Finally, CDTV understood the deep intricacies and deep emotional themes of Total Xanarchy
I was suprised he didnt like it from the start but whatever
Without Warning is a dope project. Offset and 21 Savage have great chemistry and it has some of Metro Boomin's best production. It took some growing for me too tho (although I did like it on first listen), but I think Darth Vader is one of the best tracks on the album.
Also, if any albums come to your mind that fit this topic, I think doing a list of 10 albums you liked at first but don't like now would be a good idea for one of your future videos.
One of my favorite albums imo, but Darth Vader is one of my least favorite tracks along with run up the racks and nightmare. Still an amazing project all together
ong bruh Darth Vader is so fire and 21s delivery is almost scary.
My list:
1. Earl Sweatshirt - Some Rap Songs
2. KIDS SEE GHOSTS - Self titled.
3. Travis Scott - Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight
4. Vince Staples - Big Fish Theory
5. Lil Uzi Vert - LUV Is Rage 2
6. Chance The Rapper - Coloring Book
7. J. Cole - 4 Your Eyez Only
8. ScHoolboy Q - Blank Face LP
9. Jay Rock - Redemption
10. Royce Da 5'9" - Book of Ryan
Book of Ryan is superb.
Can you do a top ten albums that you liked that you ended up disliking?
It’s not hard to beat you when you barely drop videos 😡
Sad white boy noises intensifies
Would you rather have quantity over quality or quality over quantity
Meteor Cubing it’s a joke I don’t use emojis unless I’m joking
Krebz I thought this said it’s hard to beat your meat when you barley drop videos
No total xanarchy 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Just kidding
Its actually at number 0
Tanner Collins98 lmaooooo
Lol 😂😂😂😂😂😂 that album was trash. No lie
It’s cuz he knew it was aoty from the very first listen
When I first heard Astroworld I hated it especially because it was so hyped up, I still didn’t like it until this spring. Now it’s probably my favorite Travis album; definitely grew on me
I know for sure one that grew on me over time was definitely Eminem's Relapse, I used to skip over 90% of that album, literally only listened to 3 am, We Made You, My Mom, and Crack A Bottle, now I love every track from start to finish
I use to hate TPAB... But now it's my favorite Album of all time
CGHSQUAD2K Facts it took me a while to realize how great his lyrics were on that album
Brett Reese and the production
@@yo-man928 mainly. The production
Tell me about it, I hated Hood Politics, I thought I would like it and now I do, It's that boo-boo turned that whole album down for me so much and how it sounded, but now it's my favorite hip-hop album of all time.
I didn’t care for it the first time in High School, now it’s definitely a top 10 for me
I can’t believe Gravestones grew on you!?!?
Can you review it and tell us why?

Lil uzi vs the world and DSP looking back are pretty good in my opinion
Zac Plebanski bro when I saw those and GKMC I was like huhh??
@@kerrymccarthy9713 good kid had to grow on me too. It's just a really different style that u have to get used to. This was the case for all Kendrick albums for me
I love CD TV productions and I've been watching before he showed his face keep up the work cus ur vids r so entertaining

@@SKITZOforPRESIDENT, they both have their strong points and their weak points. I’d consider them around the same level, maybe a slight edge to Thugger if we’re looking at it overall, but I feel like Hops recent output (starting with Your House) has easily been some of his best, and arguably better than a good percentage of Thugs work.
Schoolboy Q Blankface. I literally hated this album because I wasn't use to gangsta rap at the time and I thought Q was just talking about stereotypical rap topics. I also wasn't fond of his very gritty and aggressive sound. But as time went on, I accepted this sound to the point where I like this project a lot and actually really like his gritty sound a long with the topic of his gangster life style across the album.
I think the reason why people say that the album is aggressive is mainly because of Ride out
@@imthesourceofallyourproble6537 well I say it also cuz of tracks like torcH and tHat part
Earl is an artist while beloved by many, I always had a tough time getting used to his music. No shit, Earl can rap and pull of verses, but his sound can throw me off sometimes. Doris and IDLSIDGO have grown on me so far, but I have to give SRS a few more listens. Hopefully, I am not the only one feeling this way when i first heard Earl's music.
When i first listened to SRS i thought the same thing but each time I listen to it I end up appreciating and enjoying it more
@@lunamenaa Listening to Srs right now, and I'm starting to like it more, my favorites might be Ontheway! ,Shattered Dreams, red water, nowhere2go, the mint, veins and riot!
@@yo-man928 azucar is probably one of the best too, u should listen more closely to that one
@@Bodybag-fr3rm yeah, might be one of my favorites as well
bee I don’t like Earl, but I acknowledge the talent. He is a very talented dude. But I don’t like his voice, I’m not a fan of monotone rappers. Which is also why I don’t like Drake, or Vince Staples. But again, with these 2, I acknowledge the talent, I just can’t get into them.
Saw chance the rapper assuming it’s acid rap
Oh shit I’ve actually listened to this on acid it’s fucking amazing, you should definitely try it some time
good kid, m.A.A.d city was the album that made me realize how great hip-hop is and finally got me to ditch my pretentiousness towards the genre. Honestly, it singlehandedly opened me up to enjoying music in general rather than specific genres or subgenres.
For me DiCaprio 2 took around 7 listens for me to finally get why it's good. And it's not even like I don't like JID he's probably been top 10 for me for a while, I just don't know I didn't like the album apart from around 4 songs
Finally, a good interesting video, missed you bby
Edit: aww Ik you missed me too 😘🥴
5:02 = 'Die Lit'- Playboi Carti
acid rap on acid is one of the best experiences i’ve had this year
Acid Rap, 3001 Laced, and Blonde my favorite things to listen to on Acid. Listening to Acid Rap on acid enhances your trip and you have a smile on your face the whole way through if you love Chance
Astro world and die lit both went from mediocre to 2 of my favourite albums of last year
Hunter Davies fax
Bruh what do you mean.My first listen to acid rap was the best time of my life
One of these albums for me is actually 17 by X. I wasn’t really a fan of some of the songs on here but now I really like most of the songs on there. Idk why I didn’t like them before
Edit: Don’t hit me with that “you only like him because he died” because it’s not true so 🤷🏽♂️
Ew
Meteor Cubing 🤷🏽♂️
Only like it now cause he’s dead smh 🤦🏼♂️
King IRL liked it way before he died stop making assumptions
I like how you put total xanarchy number 1
No meming for a sec, Die lit is actually one of my favorite albums, but it took a second listen to get there.
KJ Stiemke Exactly. People who hate on it just hate Carti.
KJ Stiemke facts die lit is so good but it’s weird. First time I heard it I thought it was okay, second time I hated it, third time I thought it was okay again, fourth time it’s my 3rd favorite album of 2018 and one of my favorite albums in general.
Still dont love the album as a whole but Long Time and Love Hurts hit different- Long Time in my opinion is of cartis greatest songs
Wow.. people are gonna slam you for putting Kendrick on here. But it took me a while for Maad city to grow on me too. I’d love for you to do a Top 10 disturbing albums or top 10 best/worst Hopsin hooks or Top 10 dream collaboration albums next man!
Can we get a worst rappers in the game on da baby, he’s been blowing up lately and I’ve had some friends with mixed opinions on him but I love his music. Idk there’s something about him but I love his music
i definitely wanna cover him soon in that series!
I cant believe #1-10 were all Die Lit
Very strange choice but one I can get behind
Id just like to say that I've noticed how much funnier and more accepting you've become! Its great to see how respectful you are nowadays and appreciative of different styles of rapping.
thank you, i’m glad i come off that way in my newer videos! that means a lot :)
@@CDTVProductions I'm so happy you responded! I spoke to you on the lil uzi vert luv is rage 2 episode
You should do one on artists that grew on you
I originally disliked to pimp a butterfly bc I was expecting something similar to good kid maad city and I was into the bangers back then and it wasn’t really a standout for me, after broadening my taste in music and coming back for a whole listen, I almost shed a tear it was so beautiful and perfectly produced. Kendrick Lamar since then has been my favorite rapper
You finally learnt that savage was delivering like that because the album was horror themed
Thank you
I'm not sure about albums but I can tell artists (Not in order)
1 Kendrick
2 21 Savage
3 Young MA
4 Krizz Kaliko
5 Crooked I
6 Proof
7 B Real
8 Chip (English Rapper)
9 Passionate MC
10 Joell Ortiz
Acid Rap on Acid is something stellar. Acid is a drug thats basically weed on steroids (with much much more to it obv. Do your research for more info). It truly brings out the best in music by accenting practically everything. Vocals are sharp, melodies are clear, bass is literal porn. Acid Rap is *amazing* and it's mostly due to Chance himself but the production is what brings it over the top into Legendary territory. If I could only listen to 10 projects for the rest of my life, it's a no brainer that it would be one of them. Chance's technical ability mixed with his lyrical ability was on 20 for this project. I can't even talk in-depth about why each track is wildly amazing without probably sitting here writing for the next hour or two. He evokes such pleasant emotions on Good Ass Intro, Interlude(That's Love), and Everything's Good with the music behind him just building and establishing this specific vibe. He explores the depths of his mind and the state of his living in tracks like Pusha Man (more so the latter half of this which is Paranoia) and Acid Rain. But this project is why I consider Chance to be sort of holding back nowadays. Juice, Lost, Chain Smoker, Cocoa Butter Kisses....man. I could listen to this project straight for an entire month and i'd still be mesmerized by HOW FUCKING GOOD IT SOUNDS. Its peak Chance for me. I dont think he can make another Acid Rap simply due to the lifestyle changes he's made (and i'm more than glad. My man's has a whole family now, gotta love seeing him smile), but i'm extremely grateful he put this project over wax AND GAVE IT OUT FOR F R E E. If Chance dropped this project today I would instantly put him into the GOAT conversation for rappers. He still has hella untapped potential so no doubt he can still surprise us one day, but as things are, imo he's gonna struggle to even scrape the godliness that is Acid Rap. Many Acid trips have I just laid down in bed to experience this album and EVERY SINGLE TIME I come back completely rejuvenated and glad that this project is a thing. It is truly sacred to me.
21s last album grew on me
I was a “real hip hop” kinda kid too, a year later im a changed man 😂
Lol we were all are when the soundcloud wave blow up
Haha yes, looking back to the comments I made,it was hella embarrassing.
I WAS NOT. Expecting that #1 pick. I heard that beat and I was like whaaaaat lol
disrespectful is one of the best songs on without warning, u tripping hard
Wait you didn’t like GKMC wut
Kevan Krueger tbf i still can’t get into it, it’s too long and the production isn’t that unique even if the lyrics are great... tpab is incredible tho in every way
@@marxistlynchist 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
@@Syrxen nah what i mean is that i personally won't force myself to like it just cos of its reputation and the artists reputation alone
@@marxistlynchist Re-read your first comment, yea I agree
I can't get into TPAB. I just find it so much less compelling than GKMC. Wish I could love it like everyone else does.
I don’t really dislike a lot of albums, but 2 albums I wasn’t sure about which grew on me are Relapse (Eminem) and No Love Deep Web (Death Grips).
Relapse by em is an album i didnt like at first now its one of my favorite albums ever on of the best horrorcore rap projects to date an underrated classic
you should do in depth reviews of stuff like bastard and TSSLP
kalaba kibwe what the fuck is TSSLP
@@will3148 I think he meant The Slim Shady LP
Acid Rap while on acid is amazing especially the part of Pusha man where it's just completely blank (at least it's like that on Soundcloud) you can hear the melody just quietly playing in your head during the silence
Dang lil uzi the world was the bomb I still remember when I was with my bsf and we were with two guys older than us and we broke into the school played basketball in the middle school we were going to. Right now we are in the middle school and shortly after the thanksgiving they moved and I just thought about them because mostly we listened to lil uzi vs the world bc at the time it was so famous. Especially hi roller and it’s just crazy how fast life pasts. We were walking around and stuff it was fun soon they went to juvie but me and my friend didn’t get caught. But we saw them and they told us then they moved I miss them lmao
just a question. will you do a fastest logic verses part 2? i really wanna know how fast 100 Miles and running is and your the only guy i trust sooo
it would be part 3, and yeah i’m gonna do that soon :)
CDTVProductions oh awesome. i just remembered i saw part 2 but i still forgot anyway 🤦♀️ 😂
CDTVProductions what about Joyner Lucas fastest verses part 3
That dislike is a salty wanna lil pump that thinks big Draco sucks
Can we force CDTV productions to throw underground artists in the mix, suicide boys have definitely hit mainstream level success.
great video, the only part that confused me is when you put lil xanarchy in first place
goodman nah. It wasn’t first.
It was second.
Literally hated IGOR on first listen but listened again today and it sound completely different AOTY
Die Lit was a great one and it grew on me, as well as TA1300, ?, 17, and a lot of other albums
Shadows Gaming Die Lit slowly became my a top 5 fav album of last year. X’s albums went backwards for me for how much I liked them.
Now you need to do 10 rap albums I liked that shrank on me
I really didn’t expect gkmc in there 💀 that’s one of my favorite rap albums of all time.
I'm glad lil uzi grew on you hes one of my favorites
Ever listened to Zillakami or Sosmula? Would be interested in hearing your opinion on songs like nitro cell or 1k shotz. Maybe for worst rappers in the game?
You know that he would hate them. They are VERY metal influenced and he hates rock. And, their production is VERY distorted, which he also hates. I enjoy their music and wouldn't really want to hear someone trash on them for over 10 minutes.
2 of mine are death race for love by juice wrld (btw it didn’t just grow on me because of his passing it grew on me after I started bumping songs like empty, maze, make believe and robbery about 2 months after listening to it)
And the other one, um, don’t bully me plz, rodeo, by Travis Scott.
When I first listened to it, I thought it was too long and following the release of Astroworld, my rankings of his projects were 4, rodeo. 3, days before rodeo. 2, Astro, and 1, Birds in the trap. Cut to today, Travis Scott is my favorite artist, and my rankings are 6, Huncho Jack, 5, owl pharaoh, 4, birds in the trap, 3 days before rodeo, 2, astroworld, 1, rodeo.
I like how you actually acknowledge that your opinions have changed and that you reference them too
Not even being funny but since hearing it for like the 4th time im 100% sure Acid Rap is the best mixtape/album to drop
Good to see you down with Jeffrey now. Thats like my favoriet album(yes album) ever maybe.
Can u start making some top 10 best songs by *insert name here* lists? I wanna know your opinion on ur favorite Kendrick and Denzel songs particularly cuz they’re my favorite two rappers
Same for me with Good kid, M.A.A.D City. When I first heard this album I really didn’t listen to much Kendrick and it took a little bit to get used to his voice and I didn’t like the album. Now the album to me is probably in my top 5 maybe top 3 of all time.
i did acid once and almost died and i’d never do it again, but i have to admit, when it started kicking in i listened to acid rap and was amazing, just like the album cover, it was after that it went down hill..
You should do a video called, “top 10 most monotone rappers”
Drake, Nav, and Smokepurrp gotta be on there
The reason that sometimes I initially dislike certain albums is that they are challenging or different, rather than easily accessible. The heavy lifting required might be coming at a bad time, so I either put it off or dismiss them entirely. If I give them more chances and I start to enjoy the things that make them unique, thats when I turn the corner, and I often like them more than the songs which are initially easy to like but are often easily forgotten. I think that's what happened to you too! Great list!
LIquid Swords and Good Kid Maad City are both dense albums that require focus, so I had similar experiences with them, and I wound up at the same point as you. Here are some other albums that followed the same path...
Beastie Boys - Paul's Boutique (Nothing like Licensed To Ill, but still amazing in its own right)
Beastie Boys - Check Your Head (Nothing like Licensed To Ill or Paul's Boutique, but probably ages better than both)
Yung Lean - Stranger (His strongest and most mature album overall. Many of the tracks need multiple listens but they are worth it)
This can also happen in other musical genres as well. Its important to remember that some of the best artists with the most well thought out music are the ones who wind up on lists like this.
Thank you, and keep making great content! - S.
I'm glad your opinion has changed on lil uzi :)
Totally dropped a tab to Acid Rap. It was my first time ever doing it, I don’t do it anymore, but oh my god it was life changing. I was really sad and depressed at the time, it was super late at night and pitch black outside.
Acid rain definitely hit the hardest.
GKMC & IYRTYTL became some of my favorite albums off just a few listens
I highly credit your diverse musical taste and I TOTALLY agree on about half of these. ‼️‼️
I didn’t like rodeo at first but now it’s one of my favourite rap albums ever made
“If you’re reading this it’s too late” is my favorite drake album
I get the annoying voice thing, when I first listened to Atrocity Exhibition by Danny Brown, I had to turn it off bc it gave me headaches, but many listens later and I think it’s a pretty good album
Sremmlife is one of those rare albums where EVERY SINGLE SONG was a hit
I love that this video is just CDTV shitting on his past self for his close minded taste
The only Uzi project I can understand disliking is Luv is Rage 1 that’s an acquired taste either way Uzi’s worst rappers in the game needs to be redone and tbh I think u should do JID next
An album that grew on me was luv is rage 2 when I first heard it I only liked 2 songs but now I listen to it all the mf time
Without warning is the most underrated album of 2017
@Keanan Fleming Thats one song
GZA is one of the all time greats and Liquid Swords is a classic, but the greatest album of all time? Illmatic, for sure
When he said that the Harambe was the most vocally unconventional songs he had heard...man needs to listen to anything by Haiti Babii (admittedly Haiti Babii is influenced by Young Thug)!
Did Cdtvproductions or his brother ever give their opinions on Sanguine Paradise and Thats a Rack?
neither of us did, but here it is - love Sanguine Paradise, I listen to it a lot. That’s A Rack is ok but it has a great beat
@@CDTVProductions Yea Sanguine Paradise goes hard aye. Really like the upbeat piano beat
the perfect luv tape is the best lil uzi tape
acid rap on acid is amazing, also brain cells and somewhere nowhere usa are some good chance songs for the occasion
Was expecting Total Xanarchy to be in here considering its your favourite album
Amino Squad 🤙🏻
grab the wheel is a gem idc how long it is or if the best part is 3 mins in its just a vibe
I started to listen to 21 as a joke 2 years ago and now i really like him ... he just has that weird charm or vibe that grows on you
After Uzi drops his album do a redo on his worst rappers in the game video.
Young thug’s Jeffrey album cover is beautiful
kendrick went from being a decent rapper when i started listening to him to literally being my favorite rapper right now when i started listening to his classics again
Listened to acid rap on seven tabs one time, super sick night haha
