  • In this video I outline what I think are the best choices for a Linux distribution for different categories of users; absolute beginners, everyday users, power users and developers/IT students. This is absolutely NOT a definitive list, but it is what I think will give you the best experience based on my experiments with Linux.

    i would love to hear your thoughts on NixOS, it's a fairly unique and innovative linux distribution

    I'm new in Linux and i tried Debian and Ubuntu based distros, what a crap experience. After 2 weeks i tried Manjaro, it was like night and day, the speed, super light and responsive, then i tried EndeavorOS the same experience. Don't know why people still recommend POP OS, Linux Mint, Ubuntu, etc.

      Glad you liked it! Honestly it's hard to choose the 'best' distribution for newcomers, since all newcomers are different. I've heard many newbies on Reddit say they started out with Manjaro, switched to Pop_Os! and wouldn't move back! So I guess everyone has a different experience.
