I enjoyed the game, very tense and we contained a very good French team. Set piece was good, big performances from Falatau, Rowlands and Biggar. Attacking shape and style our biggest problem still
Wales stopped France from carrying on where they left off at Murrayfield. Great credit for that. France's best player missing but they kept Dupont and above all Fickou very quiet. Shame a couple of scoring opportunities went begging but all in all good performance by Wales. Fully expect Ireland to beat England today and then a wounded England will beat a nervous France at SdeF.
Will be interesting to see how those games go next weekend. I thought we defended really well, and as you said keep their key players quiet. The problem for me is we really credit one try scoring opportunity, I would like to see us attack with more ambition!
No chances England would be this strong France. England is on their worst side at the moment, and they will have to play in Paris against an extremely motivated French team, ready to die on the pitch for their first Grand Slam after 12 years
I think you’re being a bit negative. Wales were unlucky to lose. If Williams had of caught the ball it would have been different. Nail biting game. Welsh forwards were brilliant. Rolland’s, Biggar and Faletau were outstanding
On reflection I think your right. We defended rally well, and the 3 players you highlight were brilliant especially Faletau. I would still like to see us attack with more ambition, and a game plan. I am slightly concerned on that front, but it seems as if the defence is working. Time to focus on the attack!
@@BSRUGBY Wales could have beaten the French. They are just missing an X factor player like George North. Go Cymru from NZL. Whenever the ABs have been strong we’ve always had a Jonah Lomu, Ritchie McCaw or Dan Carter. England had Johnny Wilkinson. My Welsh player is George North
sorry buddy anyone that thought that was a terrible game needs a lesson in rugby lol. Its not always about amazing tries its also about tactics and defenses, this was a battle of defenses, edwards vs jenkins, master and apprentice. both defenses were amazing, a real battle, to moan about welsh attack when it was clearly a defensive master class from both sides keeping the tries down, is not fair, france have been scoring tries every game almost on demand, yet we stopped that but no one is saying the french attack is shit! Arguably they should not have continued play with Tomos injured and he would have most likely have been covering that try so who knows. It was an epic battle, and we unfortunately came off second best, having said that, we seemed the better team against the in form team in the world which shows something is clicking in the squad.
I did record this straight after the game so emotions were high! I agree defensively we were really good, and our kicking game, despite a difficult start we managed the game well from the boot. I would still like to see us attack a little more with a plan. When we did have the ball in the French 22, bar the one chance for Davies, we never really looked like scoring. Will be interesting to see what changes Pivac makes for Italy!
This Wales side are very good at making teams they're worse than look bad 🤷🤷
I agree, I thought in defense we were solid barring the try. But never offered much going forward!

I don’t think it was an awful game. We had tactics and they very nearly worked.
Ye on reflection I thought defensively we were superb. The kicking game to start with was poor, but we quickly worked it out and used it well. I would still like us to attack with more ambition, and more creativity. It felt like we were trying to contain France, rather than go win the game.
