Shel - I have so much enjoyed your chatty color-alongs. Its been fun getting to 'know the artist'. With a young family, these are the times to hold on to every moment! My son is 33 and there is not one day I regret. I want you to be able to say the same, and if the chats are too cumbersome, then how lucky we are that we will be able to still watch you, but you will still be able to enjoy family time! And that is the best of all worlds for All of us!

Lovely coloring ❤, I really like the little girl's cobalt coat. I struggle with Christmas pages as the only colors I can think of are red, green, white and gold 😅. So I am amazed how your page looks Christmasy without them 😍.
I also wanted to say I found the "mapping" technique you did in these videos very helpful and easy to understand... if that helps you shorten your videos in the future. It gives enough information to be able to show placement of color, highlight, and shadow that doing just a small portion and finishing the rest sped up or even off camera is fine.
I completely understand you have to do what works with your schedule and other obligations. That said.. I'm watching this entire series and I don't typically watch your color alongs. Just to give you the information. I find it very interesting to listen to your thought processes, reasons for choosing certain color combinations, techniques, etc. Perhaps you can post the actual full color alongs to music.. and then voiceover smaller sections of the same footage as separate videos, showing just portions of the page, that may be a good compromise?
