Hi, nice work, did you keep picture or video of rotten parts, especially chassis rear? I have some rust in the chassis where the top of shock absorber connects, I am thinking of doing the same, thanks!

This was done to carry out extensive welding repair to corroded chassis and body. Massive job.

Great work! Im planning on doing the same on my 1999 j95 vx. Chassis rusts every year and I get someone patch it up to pass annual government test. Is there a guide you could direct me to on how to do this job? Thanks

There are other UA-cam channels that have done this. It's pretty straight forward but a lot of work. Body off is not a big deal as long as you have a hoist. About 10 bolts for chassis to body. Remove front and rear bumpers/ lights, Disconnect everything in engine bay that goes to body and disconnect every thing from body to chassis such as brake lines, fuel lines and A/C lines. Label everything makes life 100 times easier when re assembly happens. Expect to break stuff and have a grinder with cutting disks at the ready. These wagons love to rust. You may find that the rear underside of the body is a rot so expect alot of welding work there along with the chassis rear section. Very expensive task if you are paying someone else to do it and very time consuming.
