Please correct your title. Cyprus is one Country and half of the island is occupied by Turkey. No country other than the Republic of Turkey has officially recognized Northern Cyprus as a sovereign state. The United Nations considers it a territory of the Republic of Cyprus under Turkish occupation. Please read history before making such comments.

The food is the same: you could find the same food on both side, sometimes with the same names other times different. Khachapuri is Georgian not Armenian name. However, all those countries have exactly the same dishes, food. Khachapuri is called Pide on both Turkiye and Northern Cyprus. Also, Balkan food such as Bosnian, Croatian, Serbia, Bulgaria, Greece, Turkiye etc. all very similar, similar or exactly the same names. Stuffed wine leaves " Dolmades "" in Greek, in Turkiye anything filled is "" Dolma "" because it means "" filled "" Stuffed Wine Leaves is called "" sarma "" because the filling is wrapped. Sarma means wrapped. In Serbian etc. ' sarmica " wrapped. 😊
