SEPTA Philadelphia Trolley 101 Media ⇒ 69th St Transport Center

The journey aboard SEPTA's interurban tramway route 101 from Media (Orange St) to 69th St Transport Center.
It was filmed from aboard car no. 127. Front filming was not possible on this service.
This and route 102 are not physically connected to the main system that runs through the Centre City tunnel.

I proposed in Smedley Park under the trolley overpass. Was a Huey Avenue crossing guard (19:55) in 7th-8th grade. Went to high school at the Lansdowne Avenue stop (23:33). Connected to the El at 69th Street to get to college.
Media line is dear to my heart. Many books read on the way to and from music lessons on those trolleys.

I first rode the Media line in about 1957! Downtown Media looks the same! I always enjoyed the PRW sections! Great video!😅

Probably because of the driver...
