Possible to show the PID setup for this dyno as an example? Would be realy useful. Have your basic package on a water brake. The set rpm mode is amazing to tune with. Just set the rpm and adjust the throttle to whatever you like. But need to ramp it up slow to not get occilations. Realy like your products
We ran PID as well, steady state and a few sweeps. I think we had Kp = 0.2, Ki = 0.2, Kd = 0.02. A water brake is much more responsive at high RPMs, so you can click Advanced and enable PID Scaling so you reduce the factors as the RPM increases. This way you can have a quick locking PID at low RPMs while still having no oscillations at higher RPMs. That said, Load Control is the best regulator for water brakes. It also has scaling vs RPM in the Advanced options. We ran without any scaling in these tests. I will make a video later where we show this.

Why don’t the power and torque cross at 5,252 RPM?
They cross at 5252 RPM when you use lbft and HP. We used Nm here, then they cross at around 7120 RPM
