I've already read Colossians so that video will be out next week, alongside another non-bible reading asmr video. Since Im reading through the epistles now (which are shorter), I should be able to upload these bible readings a little more frequently. wow that sounds like a big task!! How do you go about memorizing a whole book?
@@dailybreadasmr it’s my first time doing a book so I picked a shorter one, I’ve done whole chapters before so I’m just taking it one chapter at a time. I like to practice two ways: first, starting with reading one verse out loud, then trying it without looking at the text until I can say it confidently, then I add on another verse. Secondly, I write out the first letter of each word in the passage and use that to prompt me when I forget!! It’s a bit of a different method but it’s worked really well so far!

Glad it wasn't just me that struggled with the KJV readings. Funny enough I listened to your old 1 Peter reading from the NKJV and it had me thinking like "dang, didn't know Peter was so cerebral in his writings. He's on a whole other intellectual level!" But I'm very impressed with how eloquently you read the KVJ. I know I'd be tripping over every other word or phrase, especially with a camera on me. I forget if you've previously spoken of having a copy of the World English Bible, it would be another public domain translation. Though I do still love the charms of the KVJ, and your delightful readings from it.
Have you ever tried a crackling wick candle ? They give such a chill vibe .

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
This right now is my favorite verse and let me explain why.
In this verse God tells us not to be careful, or in other words worried/stressed about things, but in everything that you do be thankful to Him, and the peace of God which is so amazing its impossible for us to understand will guard our hearts and minds in Jesus.
The reason this is so important is because we have discovered that the part of the human mind that feels anxiety/fear is the same part of the brain that feels gratitude. So when God tells us to not be anxious but instead be grateful to Him, hes telling us THE CURE to our fears is gratitude to HIM.
Whenever you feel stressed/scared/anxious i want you to try and begin thanking God for what he has given to you. the wonderful people you love and the beautiful things he has done in your life, and i promise you will feel an inner peace you have never felt before.
I have used this verse for 4 weeks now and havent been depressed,stressed,scared or anything for more than a short moment. It is so freeing!

I love KJV and it’s what I memorize from. It can be hard to find so thank you!

Its a little sad to think the Bible is restricted by copyright, I'm simply grateful I may experience the word of God like this either way
it's so messed up imo that other versions are copyrighted to share too much from. Gods word should never be restricted from sharing
