You can literally listen to the air traffic control audio. The controller at all times made aware to the helicopter pilot. He was on a collision course. I don't know what all this dei b******* commentation is for. The controllers handled the job very well, it happened right in front of them. No one freaked out and they continued to do their job landing planes. Even after witnessing something traumatic.

It's most likely been another hijacking using either the plane's Automatic Flight Control System or the Uninterruptible Autopilot, made to look like an accident, but it was really sabotage. I think they also did the same thing with the crash in South Korea recently. And the Philadephia plane crash which happened only 2 days after the D.C. plane crash, involving such a very steep angle of descent and incredible speed, definitely is indicative of foul play/remote hijacking.
I’m really trying to listen to his speech but the hateful things he’s saying are literally making me sick to my stomach. I have type 1 diabetes, I’m just as capable as everybody else to do just about anything in my life, but I am considered to have a disability. When he lists out all of these disabilities, it makes me feel like I should be ashamed for wanting to achieve great things and serve my community. This is a really insensitive message, especially during this time when the country is mourning. 😔

The helicopter pilot was a black woman whom the military is internationally hiding the name of. As well as doing everything they can to bury the fact that it was completely her fault.
The investigation must be completed before any true judgement of this tragic event can be had. Lacking all of the facts, all talk is simply conjecture and often not helpful. Understanding flight, night vision, work loads, staffing, along with human factors, both pilots and controllers what was being used to maintain aircraft separation and what operating arrangement, if any each aircraft was using are only some of the considerations needed to evaluation the cause(s) of this accident. Conclusions will take time. Meanwhile, my heart goes out to all of the victims and their friends, family and loved ones and they need our sympathy and understanding.

The helicopter was on visual and should have yielded. True. That standards have dropped in air traffic control. True. He also said that the controller was not necessarily at fault. Logic and commonsense dictates that these 2 aircraft should have never ever been at the same elevation nor within 500' of the other, never.
Moreover, the airliner pilot was on the common approach relative to this specific airstrip. Also, the airliner has the least maneuverability of the 2, and than likely has less or no responsibility.
The others involved could be responsible, equally or not. However, the charge comes from the tower, and communication was not clear and concise. As well, visuals from the Blackhawk were mistaken or not realized fast enough.

Without seeing the broadside of the plane, it would be very difficult to see at night. If the Blackhawk was using nightvision the Light Halos from the ground and airport would make it more difficult to see a front of an airplane.
The helo pilot was probably looking at the planes on approach and didn't see the one on landing approach.

The helicopter pilot responsible for the whole collision was a black woman who was in control of the aircraft because the previous administration decided there were too many white men doing that job.
