Just to remind everyone, canelo had trouble finding an opponent. I believe james Kirkland went to jail at the time. Paul Williams got paralyzed in a motorcycle accident. So Ortiz was going to fight Canelo and needed a stay busy fight. Of course things didn't go as planned.

I remember the shock and awe on my face when he didn't come out of his corner for the 10th round. It still gives me PTSD to this day; that's when I knew Ortiz wasn't built to be a champion anymore.
