You missed a small reference! In the paint can item, some of the customized options includes complimentary colors that you'd you see in a Splatoon match. And if you don't think that's a Splatoon reference, if you put them in the dark, it glows like the ink during a Splatfest!
Blather's EN dialogue about the eusthenopteron seems like a reference to Alterna's story as a whole (especially with some of the wordings, they resemble sunken scrolls and the alterna logs a lot)
This is almost certainly not the case as Splatoon 3, the game that has Alterna in it, came out years after ACNH and by extension that dialogue. If anything, it's just a recap of general Splatoon lore, as the key details mentioned in his explanation are in all of the splatoon games. It is of course possible the the people who wrote it also had a hand in Alterna's writing but they'd still be years apart.
Meanwhile, the Spanish catch quotes: “¡Es de armas tomar!” (It’s getting up in arms!) “Qué dices, ¿sabrá cantar?” (What do you think, can it sing?) Not bad at all 😆
In the english version, when they said "does it actually not bloop?" or something similar to that, I *think* they are referencing The Bloopers from Mario

it doesn't realistically matter as the point is that it's not a splatoon reference :P
