But Also their trainer really up level. They really paid well the superior talents for new talents. That's why SM still can maintain the kpop industry.
SM doesn't actually care much about base level talent when they scout. They believe the skills in singing, dancing, and rapping can be taught. They actually take more time to cast by looks, since that can't really be taught.

I don't think she would've been able to put on this performance back in her SNSD days. Her voice was always so strained and tired. Since debuting in USA, her singing sounds so much more effortless and sustainable!

But based on other fancam's videoes, I believe this performance was real cause she raised her singing ability so much.
Snsd members all have individually distinct voices but they blend together perfectly when they harmonize and I f*cking love it, there hasn’t been another group like them.

Even though Jessica used to be one of the group's main vocalists, Tiffany also has improved her vocal a lot since her departure from SM as well. Overall, it's up to one's preference, and it's best not to compare them (since both have different techniques and vocals).
They invest the hell out of their artists. They make great artists and they know that. That's why whenever an artist leaves SM, the company threatens to blacklist them in the Korean entertainment industry

Before she have to range on what their grp needed to the point that she strained her voice a lot (solo perf can prove how much she struggle on it) but after her US debut and different song genre she now have the control over her voice and how smoothly she belt it out. Watched her concert last January and I couldn’t be happier listening to her singing with such ease and passion. I love her in SNSD but I’m much in love with how she didn’t stop learning and let herself freely take over her career 🧡

Most, if not all, female idols have studied Girls' Generation because they're a textbook example of what a K-pop girl group should be so no wonder those female idol panelists recognized her. Also, GG's vocalists have some of the most unique tones in all of K-pop that not only do you hear their voice a lot because of their popularity and success, you'd also be able to single them out of all vocalists very easily.
