Thank you for your lovely video! I too love the New Dawn rose, it has such a delicate pink colour, and it smells so good. I also love a red rose, a climber, by the name of Sympathie, when I lived in the western part of Norway, I took the last rose in for Christmas. I had the rose on the east facing wall. I will try it also here at our new house, and as it can go to zone 3 - I hope we can just about manage it, even here in our somewhat colder climate, in the western part of Sweden! @@LizZorab Thank you vm for the answer. Well, this winter was not so cold, but sometimes we can get temps down to 30 celcius for short periods. One impressing thing I forgot to tell you about that rose, was that it keeps very long in a vase too, you can take it in when it is just beginning to show red, and it develops into a full flower in the vase. You should tell me if you come to Sweden sometime. We would love you to visit!

We have two of the most amazing roses growing against a shed wall. The shed has to come down to make way for an extension to the house. Will definitely be taking cuttings. They start off a vibrant orange with cerise pink splashes, and fade to shades of pink, peach and yellow. The individual flowers are multicoloured, and different flowers on the plant are different colours too! I wonder what the name of it is. It was here when we bought the place so I don't know.

I have successfully moved a couple of very old roses. One of them snapped into two during the digging up process and both parts went on to be vigorous healthy plants, so it may be worth trying to move them as well as taking cuttings. It sounds like a lovely rose!
