i think that bellamy by now is in love with clarke, like hes been slowly falling for her since the beginning and i think thats why it hurt him so much that she left him back in the season 2 finale because he felt betrayed. And when he saw her in lexas side, who betrayed clarke (I love lexa btw) he was just devastated. I think clarke knows hes in love with her

One of the biggest things is the lack of Bellarke, in the novels they basically start dating from the get-go, which is a bit fast but still. I'm all for a slow burn, but this? You must have needed to watch it from season 1. You must've needed to be here from the very beginning. When the show first aired. Many of the new people from the 100 fanbase only watched the 100 because they introduced a gay badass character. Don't get me wrong, I love Lexa, but many people only watched it for her and no one else, and many only started watching the 100 at season 2. And when Lexa died, many of the people left this fandom. That gives you an idea who are the real Hundred fans and who are just Lexa(Clexa) fans. Maybe you watched season 1 but didn't feel it because you knew that Lexa was coming and was going to be Clarke's new love interest. Thus ignoring the beautiful relationship buildup of two damaged characters and how much of an impact these two lead the remaining Hundred. Half of the 100 fandom only watched it for Clexa, but it's so much more than that. And it isn't fair either because she was only a guest star, and she's more loved than the actual main cast. You need to rewatch season 1, and ignore the Clexa relationship for a moment to see the chemistry buildup between Clarke and Bellamy. Even if you view them as platonic, they really do have chemistry and everyone knows it. Bob and Eliza know it, Tomas(Finn) knows it, Devon(Jasper) knows it, hell, he's the captain of the damn ship, and even Jason Rothenberg knows it and he believes in it. Watch s1, watch their relationship develop and blossom, because really it's a beautiful ship and it doesn't deserve all the hate that it gets. :)

Of course, not everyone likes Clexa, and not everyone loves Bellarke or sees their chemistry, vise versa. And that's okay. And I really do believe that Lexa deserved better. She should've died bravely like in battle instead of getting hit by a lousy gun shot. But i'm not gonna lie, this show was such an underrated show in s1 and when s2 began that's when more people started showing up and our fandom began going down in flames. You most definitely don't have to see Bellarke in a romantic way because obviously it's your opinion and it should be respected. Believe me, I actually kind of liked Clexa when I first watched them on screen. Can't deny there was that obvious sexual tension there. However as time went on, the fandom started to piss me off so I stayed away from the ship. But Lexa is still one of my favorites along with Octavia too. And I ship Bellarke because of their slow burn relationship buildup and complex dynamic. The reason why I love this show is not only does it have good representation of well almost everything, lgbt, race, etc. But because there's an actual story that goes on and the character development of all these damaged characters is what intrigues me the most. I think we can agree on that lol. Sorry if I misjudged you... That was wrong of me on my part. :)
