Everything about this truck makes me smile. The paint, the generation, the sound, the story. As a diehard ford fan, you got a gem here man! Want an old ford so bad! Great video my dude!🤙🏻
You have excellent cadence, musicality, and correct speed to the way you presented in this video. That’s 90% of the battle. Keep working hard and you’ll do great with this channel.
I own that truck you and others have been waiting for. 1997 F250 XLT 4x4 HD 4 speed Auto, 7.5 L, 63,000 miles, always garaged. I may buy a new Ford F250, but I'm going to keep the 1997. It has been the best truck I've ever owned. Nothing fancy, but does all the task you buy a truck for. Glad to see that you have the truck you've been looking for.
Dude! This video needs WAY more views! It's so well shot and edited! You did a great job. I also just bought an obs f250, nowhere near as nice as this gem.
Great video. The truck is just fantastic. I have owned several just like it, and daily drive my 1996 F350 4x4 Crew Cab everyday with 380,000 miles and going strong. Love these trucks.
These are great trucks. I got a 96 F150 with the 300 Inline 6 a couple months ago and I'm loving it. It's not a diesel but still very durable and I plan to keep it for a long time. Looks like you got an amazing deal.
We own a 1993 F-150 four-wheel drive, automatic straight 6. What a truck! This thing is a beast, always starts, always dependable, goes anywhere. Not real fast, but it goes anywhere!
I feel you, looking for a obs for the past 5 years haven’t gotten any deals yet, all are 380k and rolled over so pb 480 or 580k and dang 7800$ super good deal
I used to have a 7.3 Powerstroke & it would not die. Take care of the ole girl, & your kids will be driving it. Basically from what I’ve found after looking & owning these old trucks, is that the guys that own them just keep driving them. Guys shit on these old 7.3s cuz the 5.9 is the best thing ever, but the Fords got a better body.
Recently came across your channel! Blown away by the quality. Glad you are getting the recognition on TikTok. These older videos, which lapel mic are you using? The sound quality is awesome and refreshing to listen to.
Dang that is awesome just subscribed, just picked up a 95 f250 4x4 7.3 199k for $2500. Has a weird idle when put in drive but nothing crazy maybe a drop of 100 rpms. Just thinking new fluid and filters.
My buddy just sent me a tiktok of your AAA VR6 into a MKI swap, but I militantly oppose TikTok and will not use it. I found you on here, and think the way you're doing this is dope as shit. Also, I never check comments but really want to find the long-format version of the TikTok video he's referring to... My 98 VR6 is sitting in the driveway being sad and I need some AAA in my life (the engine).
I have a similar story but not with a used truck; it was a new truck the dealer made a sale and I put down payment and signed paperwork, but the truck was at another dealer and they arranged for a trade but since it was on a Saturday evening they said come back Monday truck will be here. Monday morn they called me and said “hay unfortunately that dealer this morn changed their mind and refused the trade we’re trying to find you another one” long story short I got a better truck for same money; it was a more expensive one but dealer ate the extra due to the circumstances. I was also told they severed ties w that other dealership over it. Wild.
Kind of the same way i got my OBS 7.3... im from VA. Was working in CA. Found a really nice 97 7.3 back home. Made plans to fly home and buy it. Got bought the day before i was to arrive. 2 months later while in CA still. Found one with less miles, cheaper and cleaner. Now the proud owner of a 97 7.3 ZF5 spd. Extended cab short bed dual tank 4x4. 2 tone red and white with red cloth interior. Couldnt be happier with it. Hope to be buried in it some day😂
Surprised I’m just watching this now. I have a 1996 F250 7.3 5 speed, and a 1981 300TD-T. Have owned the 123 for 10 years, and have had about 5 other ones since 2009.

I love these truck too! Great trucks no matter what engine

Wow. What color? Trying to find one for my first truck.
I'm eyeing your same model, but with 130,000. Never entered this realm, what would you say is a reasonable price to pay?

This truck is beautiful and who knew you were a guitar master your channel keeps getting better and better !
This is my dream truck. It doesn’t tow the most, or the fastest, but I love these trucks. It reminds me of my childhood.
Man, what an awesome story and it’s a gem of a look too. Continued Success…..

Got to love the sound of a 7.3
I bought a '95 ECLB 4x4 with 276,000 miles in Bend OR in 2020. Love it. $8250 looks almost brand new.

And better chassis by far, cummins swap a Ford is the best for max power. Nothing wrong with the 7.3 PSD or IDI for work horses.
My truck’s twin!

Get some gauges for it so you can prevent damage and spot problems before they get bad
You need the factory alcoa rims and it's 100% perfect.
Nice truck bro
you just bought your self the best motor ever made 7.3 power stroke my 7.3 has 447k miles 1 owner still looks like rhe first day we bought it.
Love your videos man.
100% agree those trucks aren’t worth that much…but if everyone is selling them at that price I will as well 😂
y'all remember when 10k truck was alot of truck. I bought my first super duty for 800 bucks and drove it for 7 years
Haha dude I’m like 20 minutes from Hillsboro
I’m going to get a F150 93 or 1.9 TDI manual beetle
To replace my old van
Love this video
how did you get obd2 in a 95 model ?
so expensive in England but I`m about to get my second one...I`ll never learn..
I am looking to buy a 95 but not sure what motor to get? Any advice?? Thx
What is the maintenance like on it?
I would have bought one with the 460 V8, and I have! I have two!
i have an odd question, could you measure the total height of the cab from the outside? should be about 53"please let me know
Dope truck
I have the same truck but on a f350 4x4 7.3
have you done any mods?
2wd?
Drop the Hoovie bit
I know it's none of my buisness but much did you pay your truck?
So jealous!
love it love it
hell yes!!!
If you ever decide to sell it let me know. I’d be interested.
How much did you pay?
Do you still have the truck?
I do not. I never really used it, to be honest haha. Plus at the time, diesel was wicked expensive
@@JamesCooperider but isn’t diesel 40% more efficient than gas?
@@bngr_bngr technically yes…. Still a 444 cubic inch engine. Thing only got 15-17mpg
Hells ta the yessssssss mann
I never liked the aero nose trucks. I love 1991 and older Fords.
It’s funny I’ve only ever owned obs and gti s both 1996 trucks 1 5.8 other 7.3 both zf5 I will own another obs
calling the 7.3 powerstroke a 440 cubic inch threw me off
Never sell. I wish I had that.
I prefer 1987-1991 Ford F-series, even more square!
ALWAYS TRUST A SALESMAN(THEY NEVER LIE....UNLESS THEY ARE TALKING)
$7800? Truck is easily worth 20. Poor guys walking around without a shirt now.
😍😍😍😍
Howmuch
This is a story about something but not about the truck
You will barely see the truck just him talking
Not 4x4
