I agree with a lot of your points. Innovation is important, but it's even more important not to lose your own identity. My problem, however, is that from Chapter One to Chapter Four, five years have passed, and the game, in my opinion, started to feel stale. Chapter Five was a breath of fresh air. For me, it still felt like Fortnite, and I also don’t agree that all the weapons felt hollow. Every weapon was good at something else and the mods only amplified those strengths. All in all, the chapter felt very different from the others in a good way. It has actually grown to be my favorite chapter in the entire game so far, but in the end, it always comes down to personal preference, I guess. The locker changes did suck, tho.
Everyone’s favourite part of this game is different, and I think that’s cool. Personally I loved chapter 3 because it felt like a direct build off chapter 1 (while still feeling like a different chapter). My issue with the weapon mods in c5 were that they took away from what made Fortnite weapons recognisable. Like in previous chapters, each weapon felt unique because you’d pick it up and have to use it how it was. The customisation was a nice idea but made the weapons feel same-y in practice (and personally made every match feel the same)
@@Therapist_Demoman I do understand that. The chapter definitely was more realistic then what we are used to. But that, just like I mentioned, was a breath of fresh air. It made the game feel new while, im my opinion, still keeping the soul of the original art style. But I get why people would not like that.
Really solid points in the vid. It's not that we want the old skins or old guns back in the game because it reminds us of a better time. We just want the game to have the same identity as the old chapters; funny, wacky, and innovative in the right direction
I've lost interest in the new seasons. Land at a POI, eliminate 3 AIs, then wander around the map for 20 minutes, only to lose to a player with mythic weapons and an AI helper. I'm ready for the original experience because it was more fun and exciting.
Every Fortnite Chapter is a sequel unto itself and thus a different experience/game based on the original. The OG original is the best because it does not diverge from what once made Fortnite _Fortnite._

100% agree
Yea.. I don’t want to agree on that one.
Ch5 was horrible for balance of the game.
The realism just doesn’t feel like Fortnite for me.

It is because it is so fun and I am not blinded nostalgia and the hitscan was so good

THERE BETTER NOT BE BOTS IN OG
hell yea this was interesting you getting a sub
Great video.

Real. This is why I think c1-c4 felt so different compared to c5
Yes it does. The only reason fortnite is popular is because it diverged from what made it fortnite 😂
Idk what that comment is you just had to be there
Here before at million views.
Yo I wish bro 😂 ty tho 💯
@@Zee_555just wait bro 😤
Couldn’t agree more!
Rlly hope they tone down the collabs and ai in game I'm so fed up of running into robots instead of real ppl
So tired of fighting bots just to end up getting 3rd partied by a real player 💀
I want to go back because it was awesome. Plus I’ve had enough of annoying kids who are 4 pretending they are better than us
Chapter 1 season 4 was the best in my opinion.
Definitely a great season 💯
all they want is the skins
It is nostalgia
Do you have any evidence for this? Chapter OG already largely disproves that nonsense argument.
