Good game but honestly why is it so hard to find a sticks and rocks in the beginning??? Like they should be everywhere
Find rocks by the water where you start out - you break them down into stones. Use 2 stones to make a knife - use that knife to knock down small trees for logs which you can break all the way down
I just bought this game today for Xbox and it took me 30 mins to find a stone
@@Griiemy23 best to find them on the road you wake up on. It’s pretty much a straight shot from there to the river

It's a console glitch.
Start a new game, they'll be everywhere.
@6:02 That should be the first thing you do - gather the leaves.
As soon as you spawn/craft a blade, you should cut down some leaves. By the time you finish your frame/etc and it gets dark the leaves will be dry and ready to use.

when in doubt, hold right click. harvest large stones, harvest large sticks, harvest logs. it saves on tool durability.
This is what I ''needed'' when I first played the game.
It does have a Tutorial but it really only covers making a fire....
sooo I didnt want to spoiler myself and learned how to make tools (actually everything) the hard way.
It took me quite a while to be honest and I was dependent on Tools found at specific places.
The only thing I've ever looked up is how to heal poison or something else, I cant remember, it was something that rarely happened to me so I forgot every time what I needed to recover and not die.... I died anyway many times^^
also: the difficulty '' A walk in the park'' is not as easy as a ******* walk in the park :(

I could never manage to find the coconuts and didn't know if I even had a recipe for a bed yet. I'm going to look even harder now and see if I can make do with the information I learned here... thank you, and please keep making these videos!
You should look up whenever you see a coconut tree you should find some there. To get the coconuts you should throw small stones by pressing [G]
1 Tip I offer is when in need of logs/long sticks cut down 2-3 trees next to each other before taking the materials you need to a drop off point that way you can carry more logs/long sticks at a time which will result in fewer trips saving you a bit of time.

I just wish that the sleep need could be adjusted slightly.
Sleeping in this game is so demanding that it often gets priority over literally everything else! Hunger, thirst, injury, all secondary to that race for the bedroll.
When you're in the jungle choping trees, running from predators and just casually throwing spears in animals, you can get pretty tired, and that's why sleep is so important

The way you played you would need to find a birdnest in the dark because your leaves wouldn’t be dry. First fire fail.
In story mode I'm at the part where you have to start the fire I've done everything I've looked up the hand drill recipe and everything but it won't let me create the tool

Hey, to build constructions on water, firstly you got to build Floating Frame on water. Then you're able to build structures on it

Why did ya'll change the map locations??!! I can't get to the west side of the map
for 💩! Can't reach the drug lab or the fishing dock. Been trying for two weeks.
There's no way to get there with the new update. Playing survival mode Quest VR.
Any suggestions? I finally quit playing. Beat story mode. It was easy..

I have just purchased this game for the survival aspects. Green Hell is classed as a very good close to realistic survival as players on Consoles will get along side Stranded Deep.
For me, I just want a realistic survival game to build, with the option to be rescued if I want to finish the survival adventure. Just natural dangers if any at all.
I am fed up with survival games being about the apocalypse or plane crashes, stupid zombies or pathetic mythical sea creatures.
'The Sims 2: Castaway' on PlayStation 2 was absolutely spot on. It was a game of survival with the option to make a big sea coping raft to sail home on bringing the end of the game. I elected to stay but my PS2 had other ideas.
I would love to have a company like The Development Team behind Green Hell to create a simple in depth survival experience for the Xbox One S as a starting point, that has similar gaming enjoyment as the Sims 2 gave us but with natural elements.
Give us survival & natural death through natural dangers.
Give us Sex. Give us realistic nudity (DLC for older players, 18 cert) reproduction in survival. Caring for the children created.
Give us survival farming. Pigs & Boars, all kinds of edible veg & pulps, honey & planting new trees, various kind of trees that give us leaves every other day.
Fish farming.
The adventure is surviving for as long as possible with the option, if found, to leave the adventure.
Male or Female starts the adventure with an option for the player in the beginning game menu to add a randomly placed mate that needs to be friended, trusted & eventually becoming a survival team with, if chosen, Love Interest & if successful, sex, babies, family & eventually after Years of playing the sandbox game, a new economy starts up with another DLC that adds more survivors to join the growing home into a village, town, city... the longer a player plays the game, the longer it shows because in 20 actual years of the server based sandbox, players can see how long & we'll you have survived for.
I just got to pitch this to the creator's of Green Hell. I best make a dated, timed copy of this comment right now... screen shot.
Game is good but not fully optimised I play the forest on same pc it runs smoothly with medium graphics but in green bell i have to low graphics to very low and all other settings to get 30 fps average speed
Somehow I'm in the tutorial of that game and I'm completely stuck with creating a campfire. After 60 minutes or so I've decided to google for it. In this video it looks so easy. But in the tutorial I do not have that menu. Or at least it is not explained how to get it. Can you also make a tutorial how to do this in the tutorial?
Hey. Click N and find campfire, put materials and just fire it :).

It took me 3, 3 in game days to do this exact same thing on EASY difficulty same build, same spot. 3 days, not 1. And again there is either a difficulty spike between PC and console or something because even with nutrients depletion on LOW, my stats drop WAAAAY faster than on this video.
Fucking same, I’m on PS4 and my stats drop so fast that this game isn’t even fun
@@SebastianMehenka that sucks dude, at least you know it's not just you. I had to turn everything off just to make it through the story. Survival mode might be different I don't know.

I drank dirty water for a while my first playthrough and it only gave parasites some of the time. All you need is orange and blue mushrooms to get rid of parasites

Yeah there has to be a difficulty change between pc and console or something because I literally did EVERYTHING you did in this video on Custom difficulty where nutrient depletion is on LOW and passes out from exhaustion before I got the shelter built. Can anyone explain this? I wasn't finished until the next day and had a worm from sleeping on the ground and died shortly after that.
I just wish they’d added the option to slow down the time, feels like I’ve hardly got time to gather resources to build a base before it gets dark
I’m on PS4 and though on my first attempt I did die (learning curve of the game), my second attempt following this guide worked flawlessly. I built everything and was able to keep myself fed. And I’m on King of the Jungle difficulty
OMG I didn't know I could hit them with my axe. I've died so many times because I couldn't find a coconut and the predator keeps killing me over and over. I've died like 10 times before I started watching helpful tips. Like how was I supposed to know these things?
Yup, that game is not so easy, and you got to learn by doing to stay alive and wealthy. But every time you obtain something new it feels rewarding, right?

Why doesn't the "tutorial" actually teach us how to make a fire? Trying to play this game, but the tutorial just says "Find a spot for the campfire"... \o>

story mode coop was already out for like 1 month or so.you can play with a total of 3 other friends excluding yourself which means 4 people in 1 game

Waterfalls are great sources of stones and you can also harvest large stones to get small stones
@@marshallsiora6417 doesn't matter, I got close to level 100 and 4 of my baby wyverns mysteriously disappeared. The game deleted my babies so I deleted the game.
