I feel the exact same way with your explanantion, people love canon and some go to AU videos and nitpick in the comments of how the AU “Isn’t Canon” and say a bunch of stuff from Matpat theories because they refuse to think of an original theory themselves, and yeah you are right it does take Legendary-Level AU Writers to make a genuine story for an AU/Fandom and make it reasonable and/or sensible and not just throw in whatever they think is cool
My issue with Matpat, is that a lot of his theories derives linking the books to the games, (something Scott himself stated that were two different universes).
Thank you for that at the end. It pisses me off how people nag, b**** & moan because others don’t follow canon in their videos even thou they are making their own AUs. I know everything about the canon story, both books and games and I don’t attack someone for not following the canon. These people need to get a life or make their own AUs that follow canon if it “offends” them so much.

@Jedi Of Math 369 As stated before, just because characters appear in both, the lore is seperate. No correlation besides that.
It would be interesting to see them react to Salvaged animation by Edd Pilgrim and for you animation by Edd Pilgrim.
