Little raise in price. They aren't on every corner like Dollar General ya know. Lol
It is the Family Dollar store partnership that may be the problem. They are often very near a Dollar General store, which I think outperforms them. Most FD stores I have been in, have aisles almost completely blocked by unopened boxes. Then, too, some DT shoppers may have gone elsewhere after the 25 cent price increase. Also…there is Temu! I would never buy from Temu, but many people like the prices.
Close stores where thieves live who are robbing them blind. We should not and will not pay more for dollar tree stuff. Raising the price again will put them out of business. Dollar tree needs to have their employees stop people from stealing everything. They are not doing anything to stop thieves even when they see stealing and they are told about it. There are no cameras, no one watching, and the manager sits eating bon bone in her office at my dollar tree. She can hardly get up out of her chair. Very sad that all kinds of stores are closing due to theft. First they pass on the cost to us, then they must close.

Trust me, I had somebody who came onto my front yard, my Blink system has a microphone, and I told them to get the f off my property. I never saw a mofo run so fast. I get notifications and live videos on my phone and use the mike to cuss them out.
If you are a frequent user of the Downy wrinkle release spray, here is an even better hack: Get an empty spray bottle (I used an empty Downy wrinkle release spray bottle). Refill with water and add one to two tablespoons of regular downy fabric softner, any scent you like. You can refill this sprayer for years on one bottle of softner. I have been doing this for years, works perfectly. I never iron anymore.

Regarding the wrinkle release….you must use Dawn dishwashing liquid because you kept calling it Dawn, not Downy…lol. When traveling, after spraying ‘Downy’, I let it sit for a minute and then use my hair dryer to add heat. Seams to get a few more wrinkles out. BTW, love your videos!

There is also a toilet dissolving pod that you throw in the toilet and after a minute or two it has dissolved and you can use your brush to clean the toilet. I think it's fun to throw them in there and watch them dissolve! I think that's what we're all waiting for and wanting. 😂😂😂
THE PROBLEM WITH THE DT SKIN CARE LINES IS YOU MAY FIND IT INCE BUT IF YOU LIKE IT YOU ARE SOL BECAUSE THEY WON’T EVER BE BACK IN UR STORE. IF DT IS GOING TO INTRODUCE PRODUCTS LIKE THIS THEY NEED TO BE PREPARED TO STOCK FKR THE LONG HAUL.

To this day I think white vinegar (diluted or scented if you prefer) is just about the best glass cleaner! And, of course, you don't want to use anything like paper towels that can leave lint.

I lay my clothes flat then spray the release on it. I then take my hands and smooth the wrinkles out while it's still damp. Works really well.

I read about the closings on some of the financial sites. They're closing almost 1000 Family Dollar Stores because they're not profitable. They've also had to pay millions in fines because of deplorable warehouse conditions of Family Dollar. It was a bad acquisition for them. They should have let Dollar General buy it instead back in 2015. DT's stocks are going to suffer because of these closings, so they're raising prices to accommodate the losses. Makes me SO SAD!
I noticed our Southside in my town with self checkouts last year and my impression was they took a job away from college kids or grandma.. Walmart even trying to get Walgreens/CVS pharmacy walk outs they are trying to close local stores like Price Cutters or Publix. Makes me sad too because It's the only way on my single income I can help donate our teen safe house where they go and socialize, shower, play games, do laundry 🥲 also myself. Walmart daughters do not understand the struggle
I heard a DT employee tell a customer(yesterday) that the store will basically be Five Below. They will no long have the Plus section. Because they’re being told to put everything out throughout the store and just put the prices. --I noticed a few weeks ago, it had already started in the snack and drink aisle of that particular store.
Yay best way to spend a sat evening is with my bestie Vivian!! 🍸 As for wrinkles - I just steam my stuff in the bathroom with me when I take a hot shower!! Hang it on hanger on the back of the door and the steam will release the wrinkles! I'm sure you could use a little spray too if you needed but my vote is just the steam! My tip for my bestie and her cruises 🛳 💜🍸 Also I believe that is the first time you actually liked the smell of something from Dollar Tree lol 😆

You can make your own wrinkle release by using about 2 tbs. of liquid fabric softener in a regular spray bottle, then adding distilled water to fill the rest. Pennies in cost, and works just as well. Been making my own for years.
Me too. So cost effective when you so much of it. Put it in a fine mist bottle, for a more even application.
I've been using the DT Smooth & Lift Collagen Skin cream (similar to the green dupe you have in the video, but in a robin's egg blue & white pot). It is the BEST face cream I have EVER used. I use it after a shower/exfoliating and I have not once had a breakout. There hasn't been one face cream I've ever tried that didn't cause acne. This is wonderful! It leaves my face unbelievably soft and I LOVE it. I give the Global Beauty Care Smooth & Lift Collagen Skin cream 100 Vivian heads!!

My neighborhood is getting a "New" store called Popshelf.... I applied to merchandize the new store and found out that it is a rebrand of Dollar General.
I just saw one of those in my city. It wasn’t open yet and I had no time to wait to go in. Maybe soon.

I really like the dollar tree line of skincare! There’s a blue and pink line of similar products. Many of them are fragrance free and cruelty free. The blue facial cleanser is very creamy.
The best and safest bathroom cleaning product I have found is vinegar, dawn dish soap and hot water. Works well, is very safe and it's very cheap. There are quite a few recipes online to make it. I haven't had to buy a tub sink or mirror cleaner in 10 years.
What you are describing is my natural cleaner that I use in my kitchen but I add a splash of alcohol to the spray bottle for the antibacterial part.
Dish soap isn't necessary. A strong Vinegar solution, or straight, may also be used on hard surfaces to disinfect.
I use the same concoction with the addition of a magic eraser for cleaning my shower. Nearly effortless. 👍🏻
Love the wrinkle away spray! I have a different brand I bought years ago and it works but the dollar tree one looks like it works better! I definitely need to try this!
TIP. When I spray mine on my fabrics, I don’t drench the item but you need a decent amount. I let it soak in for about 30 - 60 seconds and then shake it. Then I tug to straighten out hems, collars, sleeves, etc.
For wrinkles, if the fabric is linen, cotton, or of a more natural fabric, you can use just plain WATER, and the wrinkles should come out. If it's polyester, nothing will un-wrinkle it except HEAT (like...from an iron or steamer). TRUST ME. So the Dollar Tree around the corner from me CLOSED recently, and I'm absolutely SICK! Especially because that DT also sold ICE. Where I live has extremely hard water, so I buy the packaged ice. But it was a great store, had a ton of great stuff, I went there weekly (and thanks to you, Vivian, got some great new stuff too) So the next closest DT is a couple more miles away, but in an inconvenient location. Heartbreaking. 😞
My trick is the Wrinkle release and a handheld clothes steamer
Or conversely you can put the garment inside the bathroom while showering the steam helps the wrinkles to release.PS: No you don't need to use the wrinkle release and the steamer the steamer alone does the job I just like to use the wrinkle release and the steamer because it does the same thing if I sprayed with the wrinkle release and left the garment in the bathroom while showering it is just faster with the steamer and it is preference it is totally not a must.

I love the Global Beauty Care products. I’ve been using the collagen and vitamin c ones for a good 5 months now I believe. It’s good but I also love the Elf holy hydration line too. I even put the dollar tree product ingredients into a ingredient checker and they all came back as best and good.
I just learned that the dissolving pods release micro plastics that we end up ingesting or they find their way into out water systems.
I love the DT skin line! I use it and I've used some of their other skin care as well. My skin is clear and so soft.

When you use the wrinkle releaser, you need to lay the garment on the bed spray, and then press the garment out, stretching and pushing the spray into the garment then hang up to dry. This works wonders. I always get every wrinkle out.
I've used the DT dry shampoo several times and I like it. The smell doesn't last but it really does clean and add volume.
When I meet new people if they don’t know Vivian or don’t like her or doesn’t trust her…… I simply say sorry we can’t be friends and walk away!
I use the LA's Awesome fabric refresher (the Febreez dupe) to wrinkle release. Just spray the garment and tug from corner to corner (in both directions) and you will be virtually wrinkle free.

Huggies, baby wipes, and paper towels are a magical glass cleaner combo as well.
Put two dryer sheets in a spray bottle, add warm water. Shake, the spray away the wrinkles. You're welcome 😊

Right there with ya - smell is everything. The bottles that come with the "cleaners" have the right amount of water don't worry about watering down - or get a spray 32oz bottle dishsoap and some 91% isopropyl alcohol 1/4c each fill bottle great cleaner for everything even stain remover...
I have been using elf products since they were $1 and I knew that they weren't going to stay a dollar because it's really some good stuff so now that people have discovered it's a good product the prices have really sky rocketed.
I was surprised that you didn’t point out some size and quantity differences that made the Dollar Tree products less desirable. The WalMart dry shampoo was cheaper per ounce and the Dollar Tree IV stuff only contained three services to the WalMart’s six, so it wasn’t as much savings as calculated.
Everyone has off days and misses stuff. I’m still a loyal Vivian lover! Just, like I said, surprised. :)

I just bought the window cleaner today, so haven't used it yet. But I love the bathroom cleaner!! It's easier to store the refills and super quick and easy to mix up, plus it smells good!

@VivianTries i use & love the Downey Wrinle Release spray. I spray it on, give it a tug in both directions ( vertically & horizontally as well), then I brush/wipe my hand down the clothing item & almost all the wrinkles come out. Even jeans. Cant wait for the dupe to come to Canada 🇨🇦

Batiste is expensive but it works everytime! Dollars Tree has been killing it with skincare lately. I have to pick up this new line if it’s still there.
I use the dry shampoo for brunette’s. It’s a bit dark on my starting to go grey hair, but I like it. I’m not as sensitive to the smells like Viv is. It’s important to keep your electrolytes balanced! I’ve been buying the DT 2 pk Hydramate ever since I had Covid pneumonia in 2020. It’s a good lemon lime taste @ a great price!

We had a great room steward on our cruise that steamed or had our clothes steamed for our dress up clothes ❤. We also could request an iron if we wanted one
After spraying, I give it a hard shake. Then, hang in the shower to steam. Then hang in closet. Do it the night before.

travel tip for your cruise - empty spray bottle, insert a premium unscented dryer sheet OR a few drops of a premuim unscented softerner.... When you get to your destination fill it with a no mineral bottled water and a few sprays of your perfume. Boom. Cheap easy wrinkle releaser in your own scent. You can also add this to your steamer, just rinse your steamer after and run a few spritzs of of the clean water through.

The green line is good for mature skin to. I didn't like the moisturizer. It had a weird smell. The scrub is amazing.
