I own that Serger too!! I bought it in 1989 and I never had to repaire it!!! The only thing that broke (I still can use it) nowhere I can have it, not even Singer. It's the only part that Singer don't have and sell. I use to sew almost every day and never broke. I just passed it last weekend to one of my daughters! The best.
I have this serger. I think that I bought it in 2003 and it still runs perfectly. I love this machine! I find it to be a lot easier to thread than a newer different brand serger that I own.
I'm getting my first serger today (yay!) so I'm trying to learn how to use it. Thank you and wish me luck 😊 I could ask my grandma, but at 97 y/o, I'm not sure how much she remembers, and these are more modern to what she was used to.
Thank you so much for this video, I just got a Superlock 734dw and since it's an older model, it was hard finding threading instructions (the manuel didn't really help because there's no detailing in the photos). I found this to be very helpful considering, they thread in the same manner. Thanks again! 💞✂📏📍
thanks for this video. I have this serger which my husband presented to me 17 years ago for my birthday but I would like to clean and specifically oil it. The manual shows only one spot to oil on the upper looper. The only problem I have with this machine is that thread from the right needle breaks after a few stitches despite changes I attempt in tension but I simply cannot afford the cost of $100 just to have the machine looked at so I am using 3 threads and not worrying about what I cannot fix. .

Are White Superlock 1934D and 2000 them same. I am trying to get a blind hem foot and was wondering if the White 2000 blind hem foot will fit the 1934D.
I have a pair that came in the accessories kit included with my 20 year old Singer sewing machine. Just look up ' sewing machine/serger tweezers'. Lots to choose from.
Hi! Not sure if you fixed your problem but you pull the cover to the left to unhook it, then it will come down. Mine feels like there is a spring or something when I pull it towards the left. Hope this helps!
also can you do a video tutorial/walkthrough on how to use this machine? i got one as a gift but it was barely used and i wasn't taught how to use these
