I mean there aren’t really enough players for matchmaking to work, but if bedwars was reaching 20k concurrent players, like it did in 2020, then there wouldn’t really be a need for matchmaking, as there would be a constant flow of new players coming in and fighting other new players. Then the problem is there’s few new players coming into bedwars, either because the game is too sweaty or because they just don’t really care for pvp. I think the best thing for bedwars is if a big creator or streamer starts playing the game, as bedwars would be brought back into the public view and people would start playing again. It would also help if the game was given content updates to change up the meta every so often so players don’t get bored of using the same items over and over.
