How are these tools used to rip people off? This is a nice showcase of new tools, but your title is some trashy click bait.

Strait up click bait. Don't BS us with a title like that. These are all tools that anyone can buy and use. Most of us don't have a need to thread pipes so much that we're willing to drop $2200 but for someone who does it's well worth the money. I'm happy professionals have tools like this to make projects easier so I don't have to spend a ton.

where are they coming up with these prices. Is any of these manufacturers testing the price markets?

Thanks for bringing up this interesting point! It's always good to question how prices are set in the market.

I agree with @mattkustra5489. Nothing more then click bait garbage. Hitting the thumbs down button for sure! Should have just titled it what it is, a showcase of cool tools being used but NOPE! So tired of misleading click bait garbage.

The chainsaw sharpener seems nice but unless you file those depth gages (rakers) it doesn't really matter how sharp your teeth are. I am no professional by any stretch but I have used sharpeners that don't do anything other than sharpen the teeth. It is frustrating because unless you file those rakers some it is just as bad as a dull and completely worn out chain. It will seem to take a lot longer to cut if it does at all and make dust rather than shavings. It almost makes sharpening a complete waste of time unless you file the rakers. A dull or improperly sharpened chain can make yard work take a lot longer and more exhausting than it has to be. Then there is still have the mess to clean up after. Also a dull saw is more likely to kick back. Not only that but a chainsaw can be one of the most dangerous things you work with. Then if you have a 2 stroke one they can often be a huge pain in the @ss to keep working.

I appreciate you highlighting the importance of filing the rakers. Your experience and advice will definitely help others avoid frustration and ensure their chainsaws work effectively.
