  • Civil wars in South Sudan have deprived thousands of people of their lives and homes. Their daily lives and dreams were interrupted by gunfire. After 10 years, the refugees are still unable to return to their homes. They live in a camp that was supposed to be temporary, but has become their one asylum. With the help of the Salesians, children go to school, families receive food and medicine. Learn about the stories and daily life of the residents of the Gumbo refugee camp.
