- Russian President Vladimir Putin said on July 4 that for a ceasefire to happen, Ukraine must "take steps that are irreversible and would be acceptable to the Russian Federation."
Speaking at a new conference in Astana, Kazakhstan, Putin said that Russia could not allow for a ceasefire that allowed Ukraine to improve its position and replenish its army.
When asked about the recent U.S. presidential debate, Putin said he doesn't "really pay attention to what’s going on there."
Putin said he took "quite seriously" Donald Trump's claim that, if elected president, he could bring an end to hostilities in one day.

@jamesfe5 please Google the meaning of REFERENDUM. That's what the people of those four regions did. Remember Kosovo back in 2008🤔🤔? Kosovo did the same as those four regions and became an independent country. Those four regions voted to become part of Russia.
