Great how-to video! Do you know if the non-HK cars like my being built as we speak 2022 Oxford two-door have under seat subwoofers, too?
You would really need an upgraded amp to make the speakers shine. It wout be interesting to compare the audio before and after but subjectivity is the issue. For viewers it is hard to apprey the difference through a video of course.
I have to say that you installed the speakers incorrect.
Speaker with 2 wire harness goes in the rear (since there is a tweet there).
Speaker with a big capacitor goes in the front.
I hope you can realize about this and fix it, since the audio is not going out correctly.
Thanks for sharing your video clips.
How do you know which are the front and rear speakers? One has a longer cable than the other
@@TheMINIac mine has the basic audio and one box has a capacitor with a longer wire and the other box is shorter with no capacitor
@@TheMINIac where did you place your speakers in detail which had the capacitors and the longer cables and where did you place them I want to place mine correctly
@@TheMINIac yes I believe so the rear stock speakers aren’t loud and the the new bavsound speakers are alike so I’m pretty sure they go in the back as well I contacted bavsound but they told me otherwise that the long cable speaker goes in the front but I don’t think that is corrct
I have the Harman Kardon system in my old R56. But to be honest, I would much rather listen to my car engine growl, than listen to any music at all. The engine sound and the exhaust burbles and the sound of the paddle shift initiated engine braking is the only music I want to hear in my Mini Cooper….
My antisocial 3" straight exhaust negates the stereo so haven't bothered.
"I really hope it's not country" Bwahahahaha
Can’t wait for the rear and bottom speakers videos!
@@TheMINIac just ordered hopefully the rear won’t be much of a pain
@@TheMINIac mines a two door coupe in pepper white 😎 did you remove the seats I read that it’s possible to install them without messing around with the seats, also is it a t50 bit to remove the seat bolts?
