Hacking basically kills all Call of Duty games over 2 years old as well. Once a game is 3 years old it has no support and there are TONS of cheaters. It's lame.
Ngl I ran into him before and he wasn't doing great. Either he is 100% Toggling or just hit a luck of gold this game lol
Marksman - And even if you keep to yourself and friends, hackers can still interfere as many older CoDs have or had remote execution exploits that could do anything from crashing your system to taking over your system too. The modders in the CoD community have been trying to remedy this, but Activision doesn't care outside what American law requires.
I play snd but I live in australia so our servers are much smaller and ive played the same guy since launch and he has been walling maybe even aim botting and I still get in his games regardless of how many times me and my mates report him , cheating in fps games is so scummy

The only thing worse than their "anti-cheat" is the reporting system. Cheaters stay unbanned while good players get mass reported into being shadow banned, so they have to play against the cheaters that do get reported.
Call them cheaters. You're giving them too much credit by calling them hackers. Call them cheaters because that's what they are.

Yeah it's very rare to see a good cheater with gamesense. I've seen a couple cheat gods, but most of them are bots who still end up dying a bunch of times while reloading or weapon swapping when they shouldn't be

PUBG mobile are best example in any game. Arabic cheaters who put millions in game never get banned.
Cheating and anti cheats are always going to be an endless cat and mouse situation, you have a company that makes an anti cheat, a couple of months later people find a way to circumnavigate it... So the company updates it, just for the above to happen again.

Cheating is such an annoy issues for the players and devs. Even with the best anti cheat, it can only do so much. You need to have multiple measures to minimize cheating, since cheating is never gonna stop even if it is "illegal". Especially if the cheats bring in any form of income.

Cheaters existing in Destiny is the weirdist thing to me. You literally have abilities that can kill in one hit if you spec it right, have grenades that make walls you can stand on to get some absurd angles, a sniper that can one shot an entire team if they're all stacked up. Yet people will still fly around the map with infinite 900rpm rocket launchers. Cheating in general is awful, but in some games it's like why bother, some in game mechanics are sometimes considered cheating because of how OP they are; the auto shotgun in MW19, FFAR in BOCW, One Eyed Mask in Destiny 2, etc.
For other games it was easier to figure out hacking.

Pretty awful in CSGO right now too even in unranked. Valve seem to have taken away overwatch so people are just abusing the fact. My theory is that Valve is using this as an opportunity to train VACNET for CS2 so they're basically just allowing cheaters to run rampant so they can be detected easier in the future.

It’s so bad in mw19 that I have an anticheat class just for cheaters. Riot shield, 725, stuns, and claymores.

I'm not saying the guy is not cheating he probably is. But there are definitely people that don't like flick aiming or pre-aiming and exposing themselves...They will train themselves to aim at wall edges so that they don't have to expose their bodies unless they have to and when they move at the last second they line up perfectly when an enemy moves into line of sight.

The only way to deal with hackers is making it more expensive to hack.
If possible, 1 Activision account per gaming system so people cant have multiple accounts on their ps5/pc etc to hack with.

When I played americas army on pc years ago (started in 02-09) the aimbot issues were bad back then too. I hate cheaters. I used to mod/run servers
Tbh the intervention in og mw2 wasn't that great tbh what made it good was the FMJ attachment and Stopping power. I hit just as many hit markers in og mw2 as I do now with it. It's still very fun to use as it was in og mw2 but I think that was mainly because it was aesthetically pleasing then vs now i can us a spx or a mcpr that has more damage. Honestly id rather just have the MSR back it was a better sniper for me than the og mw2 intervention.

Best part of cod was the ability to use every weapon. In bo1 MW3 and MW2 it's like that. In BO2 Pubs it was like that. But BO2 ranked was when the two weapon meta started. In my opinion that is when the decline started for COD.
They need to be strict with the punishment! Instead of banning there account they should be charged with a crime! Maybe a lil jail time would scare most of them enough not to try it.

Yeah, I often play against whole team of cheaters in multiplayer. I report them & then logs off this game. It´s so annoying.
I swear I played a game against that same dude a few weeks ago, same CDL skin, doing the same thing. He was losing 5-1 toggled and won 4 straight rounds

You know, as intrusive as the riot vanguard anti cheat that valorant uses, you can't say it isn't effective. I think cod and other fps games need something like that but not as intrusive

I don't think you can make an intrusive anti cheat that's not as intrusive without an obvious work around for cheaters being visible almost immediately
@Vample your probably right, but with all the back lash that riot anti cheat gets, you'd think they would try something similar but make it not as controversial. But I suppose that this anti cheat might not exist if we just didn't have problems with vast amounts of cheaters in other games like cs:go and mw2

Has anyone else come across hackers that dont even have their name showing in the recent tab and when you try to report them it just throws you out of the social tab entirely... These dudes that were on the top 250 2 days ago and probably still are called CHEMICAL or CHEMICALS and narsissistic were using full on aimbots in my lobby and 2 randos on my team were also using aimbots lmao when I tried to report them after the match the top 250 guys didnt have names in the recent tab just a calling card and emblem with a blank name and couldnt even be reported I could only report the 2 dudes from my team. Is this a bug or some next level hacking?
The game on Xbox for me won't save settings on mouse so if you could do something about that iv been trying to get them in the know but they haven't fixed it sense the beginning of season 2

It’s funny because we went against him last night. Same scenario. Started to beat them, rage hacked and tracked through walls. On expo at one point he dived into the pool and from the pool while diving sniped my teammate 😅

You’d think I’d be able to get down being consistent on having solid games, but majority of mine now, I’m up against a good dozen or so cheaters every week now in 3/9 games I average before I get off. My K/D ratio is so unbalanced, that’s including Warzone which I play 60/40 compared to search. Roughly when I was 650 couple months back, my KD was a 1.5 it’s now to a 1.0 flat, and I was strictly search, I couldn’t do warzone due to cheaters on there are just so rampant due to having a payload of players.
R6 didn't make a patch to combat cronuses. It was to combat Xims. And it didn't really work well for a myriad of reasons, ultimately tho there was just a new xim released that mousetrap doesn't combat.

cheaters in fps are very common as in FPS you need to have certain amount of skill and very good aiming mechanics... thats why ppl cheat or play controller so the software could do the core of gameplay for them
Its just as hard to be a top level controller player as it is to be a top level kbm player on cod lol you have to actively fight against the aim assist in this game in many situations. Sure a trash player will be better on controller than kbm, but a good kbm player can easily slap around good controller players in this game. That being said yes the aim assist is too strong I hate it any noob can get lucky and kill you with just shooting and getting lucky with the aim assist.

As someone who used to cheat in the past xbox 360 era i just don't see the fun in it as someone who used to do it it's just not fun when you know you have a clear advantage over someone with walls stuff like that etc. it's just more fun to play legit theres more or so a sense of pride when you can get good at something but who knows why most of these cheaters cheat though.
Thank god the devs have finally put a ban on the Chronus Zen. Those made the game just as unbearable to play as actual hackers.

It’s so crazy to me that people are cheating on a game we play for fun. Image how much if a loser you have to be to cheat at something people do for fun. What do they think that they are going to get discovered in a public match 😂. The anti cheat sucks in this game I been shadow banned 3 times and I’m the most average player ever but I run into hackers all the time.
