hey, so Easthills just contacted me to do a review on their new sun tent, but the $ is coming from China and it seems .... off....did they sent you the tent directly or did you get $ via Paypal, from China, and then bought the tent yourself? thanks for the help...i'm not feeling good about this transaction
I don't recall what agreement I had with them, there are many scammers out there so be careful.
if it even drizzles that water will pour right in from those shades. at the least the shades should have been stitched at the bottom instead of at the top.
That's true it's meant for at the beach and not for the rain. The seam on the bottom makes them much easier to open but I agree that I would rather a little harder to open and get better rain protection. The beach always closes when it rains so I never really paid much attention as the lifeguards told us we have to pack up and go.

Save your money. It’s not worth the heart break trying to make it pop open. I tried many times to pull the strings just like they did in the video didn’t work. Only thing I got was broken heart, frustrating for trying over and over again and feeling worthless for not being able to do something so simple. Oh did I mentions I got rope burns on both of my palms.
Sorry to hear about your issues. I've had mine for a few years already and it always pops open without any issues. Maybe try contacting the seller since maybe yours is defective.
