I'm Gonna Miss Jerry Jarrett. The Few Times I've Seen Him Talk & Read Interviews with Him, He's Seemed like a Cool Guy and One of the Greatest Minds in the Wrestling World & Elsewhere
This really derailed the hot Gilbert Lawler feud. I don’t know why they didn’t have eddie Gilbert come back and challenge lawler after he won the title
Eddie Challenged Jerry When AWA & Continental Worked Together Early in "The King"'s Title Run
Jerry Lawler the King he earned it One of the greatest wrestlers of all times
Jerry never talked all that fast back then too! ;)
Having to go out to another territory and even doing a promo for the AWA it is so unheard of I am so surprised Jerry Jarrett allowed this to happen.
Being the AWA Champ at this time was actually a sign of failure.
@patsman191 Wasn't Jerry Jarrett actually doing some booking in WWF after Lawler sold out? Maybe I'm getting the timeline mixed up.
Jerry Jarrett was set up to be a caretaker for the WWF if Vince was found guilty in his federal case.
Jerry Jarrett called that brief ...sheesh
@patsman191
From what I know the only major wrestling footage that Vince doesn't own is stuff from Memphis and UWF.
@@DefLeppardVanHalen WWE definitely own AWA footages from 1985 to 1987, as they put matches of that era on dvds. I think what they don't own fully are the dreadful years 1988 to 1991.
Lawler's retirement match? HA!
Banana Nose.
Jerry Jarrett, understated genius. Let the fans enjoy. Had to be a blast to go to those house shows.
