You are so very right! This Group has amazing God given talent singing all parts! Arthur : What a LEAD to have! Lungs like few other! lol The Jeff, one of...if not the best active Bass singer.. Amazing Group
Arthur Rice has always been a class act. He leads the group well. And, yes, Jerry has a beautiful tenor voice. The Kingdom Heirs are top notch and their individual testimonies shine through.
The song has a wonderful message,on how it's all supposed to end, if we are bought by the blood believers. So thankful to know we serve a risen Savior who I,one day will kneel at His feet.I really love the high notes brother Jerry hits.Awsome group.
@BaptistBoyzPro Thanks! It's actually a Sony Cyber Shot digital camera that also takes High Def videos! I've still got to figure out how to edit though!!
Mary Williams Well both Arthur Rice and Jerry Martin are former members of the Kingsmen Quartet under the guidance of Big Jim Hamill so, no surprise there...
tHAT "LITTLE" tenor is NO copy cat! He IS one of the best! He's my husband and we do read all comments. That "little" tenor has feelings you know! He can sing circles around most tenors!
Mighty fine singing guys.
this tenor is up there with the greats such a Johnny Parreck. thank you for this uplifting music
That was my favorite group of guys! I knew Jeff from his Anchorman days!! I have met all of you!!!
The best tenor I've ever heard! Also very telling how Arthur and Jeff were watching Jerry so admirably!
so true lol

A beautiful clear high soprano/tenor voice!
Very good shot of my hubby there Diana! Thank you for posting this!
Not sure how the Kingdom Heirs will ever replace him. Jerry's an amazing tenor!
Jerry is amazing on this song, as usual!
@@GospelTestimony Why did he quit?
Just "love" to hear from one of the people that gave this a "thumbs down"!!! Go ahead......we're listening.
That is awesome. Has the classic Kingsmen sound that was always amazing!!!
Love the bass taking the melody on the chorus!
I was at this concert what what a night we had!!!!!!!!

i love you jerry martin, no matter where you are , you will always be a Bladenboro boy
There were at Trinity in Asheville NC last weekend. Good concert but I was SOOOO wanting to hear Arthur sing HE HAD TO RISE but they didn't.
Thank you for posting this!
These videos should be DATED.
I usually post videos within a week or two of when I captured it at a live concert, so you can use the "posting date" to know how old the video is.
A former director once said ".... Promise him anything, but bring me a tenor...." They were rare.
wow!
@BaptistBoyzPro Thanks! It's actually a Sony Cyber Shot digital camera that also takes High Def videos! I've still got to figure out how to edit though!!
What happened to the former baritone who sang this song when Sheppard was the tenor?
@madcatgolfer He was there. He just didn't sing on this song.
The lead sings it like like Jim Hamill. My he had a mighty big voice.
He sang with Big Jim
Mary Williams

They should have kept this tenor.
Mary Williams Jerry still sings with the group currently.
It should come as no surprise to anyone, but the Kingdom Heirs do the Kingsmen better than the Kingsmen do these days.
I have to admit, he's good.....But I miss Billy
Good tenor. Sheppard has the best version and this little tenor copies him.

Amen to that. He is one of the greats
Just listened to Sheppard again dear one and you are so RIGHT! Mary
One of the best, love this version.
