Hi everyone. This is a super beginner friendly sewing project and I do hope you give it a try. Thank you so so much for stopping by and do stick around for more sewing projects. 🙂
Yes exactly. But can I tell you a dirty little secret? Most bias skirts sold at fast fashion stores are cut at 60 degrees or less angle to save fabric. As long as the cut is made off an angle of the fabric, due to the nature of the stretch of the fabric, it will still fall nicely. Of course once washed, they will twist weird. So 90 degree is best for home sewing because we’re better than that!
I tend to hang my pieces overnight before I sew the side seams, to let the bias fall out. Is there a reason why we sew it first then hang it over night? Thanks.

Thank you for this video Seetal. I think it is really good as the shape is such a feminine one and you work with such confidence.
Thank you 😊
@@SeetalMD you're Very welcome!
I love diys. I have no sewing skills. Just hand button repair or a simple hem but that’s about it. You did such a great job! #newsub😀🎄
thank you @homefix I hope some of the other DIYs I do might be helpful to you. thanks for stopping by.
Fantastic!!! Going to try!!
Did u use the same measurement you use for the hip for the down part, because it is looking wider at the down part
I just went a little wider like an A cut
@@SeetalMD thanks for the explanation
So for the back do you have to put the fold on the 90 degree angle from the first fold. So the bias doesn't twist ?

Thankyou 😊Nice and clear, except for the folding part at the beginning, which was a bit fast for me.😅
Perhaps it is time for an updated video of the same. ☺️
Thank you SO VERY MUCH 👌👍👏👏
How do you find the bias?
thank you!
You're welcome!

Great question. I’m not sure. Lol. But I would assume it would be better to hang them first then sew.
It's not fast at all.
I don't like too long and talkative video
Thanks for sharing 😘
You're welcome 😊
😍😍😍
nice video but hard to understand exactly what you do as the material is black colour
Can you make for me patern for bias dress . Thank you so much
You sew so straight. My sewing is crooked a lot of the time. I even bought a magnet to sit on the throat of the sewing area
practice makes perfect. start with simple stuff and keep going.
Super mais pas de traduction …..elle est trop belle….snifffff
Confusing
Could you please make a ladies baby doll dress ? Thank you kindly 🌸💞🙏🏻
