  • In this video, you will see the reaction between cesium and bromine. As well as liquid Iodine. Those reactions have never been done on UA-cam at this scale. So I hope you enjoy the spectacle!
    We also demonstrated the reaction between NaK (an alloy between Sodium and Potassium) and Bromine, as well as liquid Iodine.
    We are already thinking about a way to safely demonstrate the reaction between cesium and liquid chlorine. If you are interested in this reaction or if there is an Element or chemical you want to see reacting with cesium, let me know in the comments.
    Check out Elias Channel. He is a great guy and his videos are awesome! / eliasexperiments
    The equipment and chemicals for those experiments are not cheap. If you would like to support me on patron, I would greatly appreciate it! / advancedtinkering

    Iodine is something serious in its pure form. It soaked through my tyvek suit and on to my arm. It was like having a blow torch blasting my arm for an hour. EMS didn't know what to do. It skin slowly oxidized and shriveled up.

    • @Hi-lz7wo

    • @jonathanleo3778
      @jonathanleo3778 8 місяців тому

      @Hi-lz7wo my entire forearm from just under my elbow almost to my wrist. I got burned because they provided the wrong protection. As soon as I felt a slight warming sensation, I knew something was wrong. It wasn't easy to get my PPE off fast enough. My wrists and ankles were taped, and I had a respirator so I couldn't yell for help. It's funny now, this guy was in front of me asking what's wrong, I had to show him.
