Our fashion lord and savior Roberto Cavalli-Letting us turn out looks and eat a big dinner without having to undo the button of our jeans. Who knew!? 😂😂
Cassie- this is what sets you apart from everyone else IMO. Instead of just showing what new LV, Chanel, etc bags you bought like most channels, you are out here giving us history, iconic pieces, ALLLLL the brands, a whole feast, honey! Your true love of fashion shines- never change :)
I love learning about fashion history, so thank you for putting in the time to let us know some interesting new info. Some of my favorites that you mentioned was Lanvin signature Blue color and the meaning of their logo. Also, a huge thank God for Roberto Cavalli for giving us stretch in jeans!!! Have a great day🥰
The Antigona is absolutely my icon bag. I have been loving what Michael Williams has been doing as the new creative director. Including evolving the antigona style to do away with (on some lines) the zip top and even lengthening the handles for a shoulder bag option. I love a brand that knows how to stick to the classics, but reinvent them as time passes.
Take us to school Ca$$! I love when editing Ca$$ie pops in and corrects video Ca$$ie 😆. I think you were spot on with these. I've been lusting after an Alaia dress since Cher was forced to ruin hers 😔❤️
Listen, listen, listen, Cassie!!! You have really elevated your videos lately with the amount of research you put into them. I truly appreciate your dedication to growing yourself which shows your passion for what you do. I’m learning more bout fashion in a great fun way. Mostly because I love your personality and I could listen to your cheeky self all day 😉 Keep GIVVVVING to us queen!
This was such a good video. I love getting into the history of these brands instead of just what’s trendy today. This was the perfect mix of those seeking trends and those seeking history and pieces for a lifetime. I would love a video on the changes in these brands. ( both in style over the decades and the changes in quality : like LV making bags in Texas or Chanel change in gold hardware ) Fantastic video!
I love this series!! Learned so much fashion history and thoroughly enjoyed it. Maybe you could create a sister series where you do a deep dive into the history of certain brands not just their iconic pieces but their origins, the mark they've made on fashion etc. There's no one I would love to hear talk about this more than you, your enthusiasm for fashion is palpable!
Every time I hear Alaia I think of Cher in clueless when she gets mugged and says “but it’s an Alaia!” 🤣♥️ love these style videos! 💗 and daaaaang Roberto cavalli! I had no idea about the stretch jean invention! 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Great video and very informative! I had no idea that Cavalli invented stretch denim!! I would be lost without that 2% spandex in basically all of my clothes 😂😂😂😂. I NEED that stretch😂😂😂.
I love this history lesson! These are such fun videos and I love a good fashion history lesson. Plus it is a nice way to think about what i own in my closet as "classics" and what i might need.
Love that you included the years the brands were founded. Super interesting video. I would love a series on creative directors like I had no idea Marc Jacobs worked for LV
Cassie, I learned some fun fashion facts today. Praise to Roberto Cavalli for introducing stretch denim. I will forever be grateful. I love that you have added this type of content to your channel on a regular basis. Keep up the good work!
Ah Cassie, thank you for the fashion history lesson! 10 years on, I still want the Celine classic box bag and the Nano luggage and a Givenchy mini antigona , I want to sell my medium and buy a mini😂 absolute legends in the game and they have definitely surpassed trends.
completely agree, I worked with a girl 20yrs ago who had the Prada nylon rucksack and I bought it last year! Looks just as good now as it did back then ❤️
Ok I heard this video in the background while I was putting up my holiday lights and have been looking for it for weeks so I could relisten! And there are 2?? Omg so happy for this info! Thank you! I made a list lol.
My dear Cassie you’ve outdone yourself with this one!! The search, the little details about the brand!! Wow. Such a queen🎉 Loved your icons!! I just thought you’d come with the Puzzle bag for Loewe.
Fantastic video Cass! I loved the education. Crazy that the first time I heard of an Alaia dress was from the movie Clueless! Keep rockin these videos and never go to luxury rehab ! 😆💗
Very informative video as always!! I did not know much about Lanvin and Alia. Givenchy is a great house. Totally agree with you the Antigona is definitely a classic. I bought the small one and love ❤️ it a lot. Thanks Cass for sharing the history of these brands.
Your skin is glowing! First thing I noticed when the video started. The most interesting thing for me was Roberto Cavalli inventing stretch denim! I rarely wear non-stretch. Thank you for sharing this!
The Antigona is the only designer bag I own, and I love it and am so happy to hear it called a classic still. Obsessed to learn Hepburns dress was Givenchy.
Loved this video with the varied brands and their history…..but Celine has to be the Phantom bag x I still want it in my collection. I’m wanting the Antigona bag next but I’ve seen a lot on the pre-loved market where the handle looks ready to fall off…..will it be sturdy enough as this seems thats a regular fault with the bag?!? x
Loved this video. Learned so much. And yes I was thinking the same thing with Miu Miu. That matelasse leather is their signature. I remember the first time I encountered the brand. I had a hard time believing it was luxury.
Alaia dresses are simply beautiful & no one wears them like Naomi👗 Alaia dress & laser cut belt is an iconic look👏🏻 When i hear Roberto Cavalli I definitely think animal print, summery evening gowns & lots of gold😁
History and fashion, my favorite combo. Loved the info. on Lanvin. Thank you for such an interesting video (and reminding everyone that there are A LOT of luxury brands).
I love the learning sessions with Cassie. I feel good that I know about the brand I am buying. Got my Rene Caovilla Cleo crystal boots and they are as fabulous as you’ve said they’d be. Thank You for introducing me to the brand. Their package and their detail on the dust bag was 😍
Cassie - the most luxury purchase I have ever made is a coach purse at an outlet BUT I still watch every single one of your videos and learn so much. YOU my dear are fabulous!
Pick up a book people! Nice vid Cas, and I am glad some of the kids ar getting their first look into the world of art and fashion, but guys… don’t let youtube be your only source of information.
Talking about Cavalli - patch work furs, patch work jeans, the whole boho aesthetic, a lot of things were introduced to the global stage by this brand. Think of Cavalli as a 70s over the top kitsch aesthetic, ranging from hippies to the disco kings and queens and pimps, but done well and very pricey. Looks amazing on anyone with pigment. Same as Versace.
I loooooove these type videos from you. I've learned so much over the years...from you 🥰. Even my 8 year old knows you by name. Thank you for being such a bright light in my life...I get so excited every MWF....bestie in my head 🥰
I also had one in pink! I've always loved that model of bag but I ended up selling it because of the exact problem Cassie mentioned: too stiff and almost cutting my hand everytime I wanted to reach something inside of it 😓 still adore that shape, tho!
I saw the micro Antigona bag at Neiman's Short Hills last week. I actually thought of you and TBE. lol Too much you tube 🤣 You might like that one. $765.
I love the brand givenchy I have the Antigona small handbag. yes I agree the zipper is kinda hard I should say but however I love it, I think that bag is now a signature piece. When I purchase handbag nowadays I check the structure, quality, value and if it soothes my personality.
Looove this! Tried the celine classic on the other week and there is something extraordinary about it. Was so skeptical. But it feels amazing on. Thank you I had no idea it was an icon!
Hahaha talking about legends and icons …. Breakfast in Tiffany’s 🤭😂 Sorry but it made me giggle 😘 Great picks some of those were tough ones 👏🏼 Iconic Mui Mui is definitely the Matelasse, their hobo style bags with the metal clasp were on everyone’s arm back in the day, they were the “it” bag ☺️
I learned a lot about the fashion houses from this and I agree about Prada and the Nylon. Also I love the Max Mara coats. What a great video to share with others who are learning about fashion. Thanks Cassie!
Brilliant follow up! Very informative sharing pieces of history is always enjoyable. I love the brands you included. A couple of my favorites are Roberto Cavalli, Prada and Lanvin. I have a few Robert Cavalli and Lanvin staple pieces that are timeless standing the test of time and still get compliments. Agree with all your picks. The Antigona is def an icon in my book. I sold my medium Antigona years ago and had to rebuy it again in the size small.💕

The Antigona is absolutely my icon bag. I have been loving what Michael Williams has been doing as the new creative director. Oohh adding to my list!
All the good LV bags except fot the alma and the speedy were designed by Marc Jacobs.
Ooh I love this idea as well and think you could do so much with it. For some reasons I never knew Karl Lagerfeld was also with Fendi.
The Prada Re-Nylon Backpack is my diaper bag, she wipes clean and she's glam! Luxe Mama vibes, would recommend
Omg love that!!
I went to Singapore for a mini holiday and went into Missoni… OMG they have so much amazing stuff atm. Totally your vibe Cassie
