Dammit ,they are foreigners but the way they respect the Nepal people culture is something to look upon ,it was worth watching ...great video as well .
Wow I'm from Nepal And I'm also from the gurung tribe who are known as Himalayan honey hunters . Proud to be gurung Proud to be Nepali Proud to be brave gurkha
Droffilc Salibar what will he do with an award? I understand what you want to say but I think that an award in his case is useless, maybe some help for his familly or his tribe will be more useful
Yea, it's the part where they idolise silly superstition and make it sound as if they're in the presence of some superior culture we should all bow down to due to their immense wisdom. Pfff. So corny, so cliche, such BS... "You'll never understand it" because it doesn't make sense.
HI THERE ha they did not do any of that they just filmed something that was amazing happening and never claimed it as theirs I can sense the snowflakes coming
Wow. Brilliant job done by you guys in bringing this traditional honey harvesting to our notice. I live in mountains but this is something far from my imagination and people around me. Also it warms my hear to see that you were concerned about being respectful towards their lifestyle.
@@joshuarai5227 whoa! Didn't see that hate coming.. what a spiteful comment buddy.. I am sure a lot of things as invaluable as this go unnoticed. Let's be respectful to those living traditions n also people who appreciate them.. Don't spread hate!
I am from Nepal currently living in state. This shit got me teared up for some reason. It was well done for 9 mins video. Keep up the good work. This was beautiful.
this documentry shows the neplese are really brave and how hard their lives are, they doing this work just for living nothing else............and thank you so much for making this documentry.
Just read the magazine feature a few days ago then watched this video. I don't think any of the images featured in the magazine captured just how exposed this cliff is. Mindblowing!
Good to see the documentary of Kirati honey hunters of Nepal. For thousands of years, Kirati have harvested honey from some of the most dangerous terrain in the world. We Kirat are the native of the Himalayas, Nepal. Long live the Kirat people, long live our spirits.
GRAND BRAVO à toute l'équipe de ce documentaire !!! MAGNIFIQUES GENS QUI VIVENT DANS L’EXTRÊME & PAUVRETÉ mais ils sont ADMIRABLES !!!! Un GRAND MERCI FOR THE North Face !
When I was back in Nepal some villagers used to gift us honey. They called it "Bhir mauri honey" (cliff bee honey). Watching this video made me appreciate the gift even more now. Wow amazing story!!
THis is one of the most unbelievably inspiring and heart-stopping litle films i have ever seen. Look at where life can take you when you follow your calling. My hearts are open because of YOU.
is there a longer film coming or was this journey mostly meant to be a magazine feature? Also what a great story to tell. That honey harvester is some sort of legend

Given the rarity with which AdSense shows me something I actually want to see...this appeared as an ad on the last video I watched, with the title "Nepal Drug Honey", and I clicked on it, but due to a JavaScript error or something, the browser froze and I had to crash it. I actually wanted to see this ad, again very unusually. I am therefore manually informing this company that their ad is having technical difficulties, but that I was in fact interested this time, and am amenable to receiving further ads of this nature from them. (Doesn't necessarily mean I'll ever be a customer, but they have a better chance than, say, Budweiser.)

Renan Ozturk doesn’t receive as much credit as he deserves, he sacrificed his love for climbing and doing it everyday to pick up a camera and tell the stories of others through a lens. And he does a damn good job at it.
