I took a punt on a different captain the week that Haaland got 4 returns. Now nearly 90 behind my mini league leader. Big mistake!
I did the same, don’t be so hard on yourself, if you’re behind at this stage it’s worth taking gambles. It was unlucky & frustrating that he scored 4 goals in the week we decided to go against him.
I had Isak captain that week to try and attack the top 50k, this one I forgot to save my team with the free hit with over 20 points on the bench, RIP season

I try to always avoid the differential caps.
I'm leading my mini leagues and I don't wanna mess that lead for anything like a differential 👌👌🤗

I had a 30 point ML lead going into GW37
Now 5 points behind
Currently at 34K OR and Top of all 3 of my Mini Leagues and was thinking about taking a -4 to get Salah in this week... but I think that Andy may have talked me off that ledge. This would be my best finish in FPL so not sure that there is really any advantage to taking a -4 anymore. Single Transfer this week and be happy with my season (HUGE THANKS TO ANDY AND HIS CONTENT)

The captaincy conversation about closing a 30+ gap and going differential is one that hits home.
Although I am top of my mini by a quite a small margin. I have faith that my team will carry me through. Great points made to answer that question. And I think it's something I needed to hear.
I am praying my final day goes well and I am champion of my mini league at the end of the season.
I’m also 30pts clear of one mini league, but 12pts behind another. Not sure how to play it, but I only have one change available. Not took a minus -4 all season

Agreed on the -4 but I'm so tempted as I have no Arsenal or Liverpool. Could bring in a defender and/or midfielder from either of those teams to start instead of Gordon and/or Dunk. Would have the funds from selling Bruno too

My bench boost is cunha, white, and gabreil and vicario so it was decent i think
Currently top of mini league by 20 points but rival has his free hit. Do I bring in saka, havertz or Johnson for free? Is it worth taking a hit and/or captaining someone other than haaland?
Of those, I'd pick Havertz.

Each league position is worth about 2.5 million in prize money, if I was the chairman of a club and heard a player saying that he'd be on loan at Dundee or Oldham next season
Would Harvey Elliot not be a good punt for GW38?
I have the same question. Thought of bringing in him to my crowded midfield .
Midfield is Son, Saka, Palmer, Foden, Adingra. Should I sell one of the first four to buy Havertz or just hold?

Thoughts on Son to Salah as a last week punt? I know Spurs have Sheffield but Son just hasn't looked himself recently.

Palace fan here. I'm going for Olise ahead of Eze. Olise has got so many goals and assists in hardly any starts this season. Eze should be on penalties and is a good option to, but it's Olise in for me.
Differential captaincy is tempting , I'm 28 points behind first in my mini league. But then the reason I'm this close is he tripple captained Son this GW😂😂
Worth a -4 for an arsenal defender and attacker?
I'm trying to go close a 10 point gap
My team is Raya, Gabriel, Gusto, Burn - KDB, Son, Foden, Saka, Palmer - Haaland, Isak - BENCH
I have both FH and BB and also 2 FT. Team consists of RAYA, GABRIEL, DOUGHTY, MITCHELL, FODEN, SAKA, PALMER, GORDON, ISAK, HAALAND, WATKINS
Bench: TURNER, EZE, ZABARNYI, TAYLOR.
I'm top of my league with 23 pts difference. The guy below me has BB and 1 FT, consisting of 3 city (GV, FOD, HAA) 3 chelsea (PAL, NJ, CHA).
What should i do?
Is Trossard or Bernardo Silva the better differential?

I'm looking at Robertson of Liverpool and Isak to Mateta. Gordan and either Son, Saka or both to go for Mo Salah but I have been to loyal to my Liverpool players and it has cost me.
I’m thinking of taking out Gordon/Isak/Foden for Salah/Olise/Munic for a -4, I’ve basically secured top spot on my mini-league, and am just battling for the final of the cup.. I get that Foden might be a stupid switch, but I have little faith in the Newcastle returns, and my only other option for Salah would be to switch Son, and Isak for Mateta..
What do you think?
SHOULD I TAKE A HIT FOR GORDON TO EZE OR JACKSON TO MATETA
In the hypothetical where Isak is ruled out/a doubt what do people think of going Isak > Mateta and taking a hit to go White > Trent? feels like a nice differential punt but could obviously go very wrong.

I have a 100 point gap in my work mini league and I still feel like I could lose even though it’s surely not possible. On the flip side I feel like I’m so far ahead I’m tempted to just captain salah

At 21:32 , you mentioned that it isn't great to move around defenders in FPL. I've been playing pretty casually for a few years now & I've never heard this before.
Can someone explain the logic behind this to me please ? Clearly it has some weight to it if a top 38k is saying it hahaha
Transfers are precious, hits don't have the time to repay the points and generally defenders have lower ceilings.
I am 150+ pts ahead in my mini league, can I still bottle it?

Bench: Ait-Nouri, Branthwaite, Jackson
Any suggestions for a -4, -8 or just stick? I feel the weak link is Floppy Jalopy Onana, AKA the wind sock and maybe bench Foden for Jackson.

I have a dilemma. I royally messed up and was supposed to use my bench boost last GW. Now I’m heading into the final gw with a wildcard and bench boost chip. I know it’s a waste but I’m trying to make the best out of a bad situation.
My team is pretty similar to Andy’s; so now here’s my question:
A) Do I use my 2 free transfers and bench boost (my bench is weak)
B) Wildcard it - and spend minimal on my bench players so I can splurge on my starting 11.
Your advice would be much appreciated 🙌🏽
It's a no brainer. You need to wildcard. There's a touch of madness and uncertainty on the final day and there would be team leaks and lineup changes. A wildcard helps you pick the safest team possible.
Other option I have is keep son grt rid of Gordon and isak and go for olive or eze and mateta
Spurs can fall to 7th, still something to play for on final day

Hi Andy - Hypothetical scenario, if City scores 2 or 3 quick goals on Sunday then do you think Arsenal players won't try that aggressive enough to score in their match so getting an Arsenal midfielder is a risk?
