    I really like Bracy's running form as he enters the final portion of his Drive Phase. He's showing very clean, efficient mechanics, similar to how Quincy Watts would run, back in the day.

    Marvin can put down some excellent times but he's never consistent enough to actually get anywhere. I wouldn't be surprised if he ran 9.75 at a random meet but still failed to even make the team for the World Championships

      He defiantly has been consistent he just had a bad stroke of luck at the Olympic Trials with getting injured and pulling up.

      Marvin is winning races again after seven or 8 years of absence from world class competition battling injuries. This is a very successful season for him in that regard.

      Yeah you’re right. He does not consistently run very fast times. One meet he’s a 9.8 guy next meet he’s a 10.1 guy. I hope he does make the team next year though.

      i really disagree with this man. He has a decent chance at a world championship gold medal next year in Eugene in the 1 lap relay. the guy is lights out fast and a strong team runner from his fsu seminole days, especially for the semis he would be perfect.

    I hope that the number of false starts seen here never occurred. Imagine the impossibility to have a sprinter quite relaxed, after so many false starts. In such a case, I hardly accept that as a race. It's botched race than anything else.Retardation rather than acceleration sets in.

      Bob Hayes 10.06s on cinders in 1964. Jim Hines 9.95s (at altitude) in 1968, but also 10.03 at sea level a few months before that on dirt. Those guys were way faster than Bracy - probably running low 9.7s with modern tech on modern tracks

      Yeah because the view was pretty far back, allowing us to see the volunteers standing still on the side of the track which emphasises the relative speed at which the sprinters were running at

Was one of the reasons I stopped pursing track, when I found out it wouldn't make me enough money unless I'm doing another side hustle, or I'm extremely good but what makes it worse is how majority of the athletes in the U.S are top 50 in each events but dont get enough recognition or even money to put food on the table because of how tight competition is here.
