Wanted to bring out a point. In the video @ 24:58 you said the steering is heavy for the fortuner being a negative aspect. Technically, fortuner has "hydraulic steering". unlike electric steerings, the hydraulic steerings are known to give better road feedback and driving inputs which increase the driving pleasure. For instance, if u take reviews of the Elantra, ppl say it has a numb feeling or disconnected drive. This is because of "electric steering". The mini cooper is known to be a fun driving car. It has a "hydraulic steering". Note that- Porsche was criticised when they replaced hydraulic steering with electric steering in the 911. Fortuner, endeavour and others are full fledged SUV's, and they're meant to weigh up accordingly. The steering of fortuner and alturas both being hydraulic, is a feature in itself if u consider the perspective of a driving enthusiast and road pleasure. Yes, the electric steering in the Gloster is easy, effortless and comfortable to drive, but one can't weigh it as a plus or minus. So steering being light or heavy is subjective to the type of person driving, and cannot be put as plus or minus. The review was amazing, loved the way you compared the practical stuff. It gave a lot of clarity.
I agree with everything but sales chart really says a lot. According to the market survey this is the ranking . 1 Fortuner 2 Endeavour 3 Gloster 4 Alturas. (Fortuner is really loved by people and it's dominating the market from a decade. There's a reason why people love it.)

The reason the fortuner may not be the most comfortable but just works well is because its based on the hilux which is a workmans truck...(same for endavour which is based on the ranger) the hilux and ranger are just recently becoming lifestyle pickups so soon they probably will become better

Fun fact: 99% of people doesn't know that AlturasG4 is actually a South Korean vehicle. Mahindra bought the company Ssangyong and hence re-badged Ssangyong Rexton as AlturasG4. Just like Ssangyong Tivoli was re-badged as XUV300. However in South Korea, both vehicles are known by their original names under original company. Also, Mahindra imports components in the CKD route from SsangYong's Pyeongtaek plant into Chakan Plant. Hence, Alturas G4 is more like a korean vehicle than an Indian vehicle. Cheers.
