Live at Peace

Douglas learns that fighting might not be as cool as he thinks it is. God wants us to live at peace.
There was a fight at Douglas' school today, two boys got in a fist fight over an argument and everyone was really excited about it, including Douglas. But when he came home to tell his dad all about it, his dad was not as excited. He told Douglas that fighting for pride is not cool, and that God values peacemakers. Anyone can get in a fight, but it takes real bravery to stop a fight. God wants us to build others up, and not tear them down. There are men and women who have to fight as part of their job, like soldiers or the police, but they fight to bring peace. Living at peace can be very hard, but instead of just fighting, lets fight for peace. Let's do the work and work through the struggle to live in peace and build others up!
