A big chunck of Sousse's economy is based on tourism eather directly or indirectly, therefore the vast majority of the locals tend to naturally be very freindly with tourists.
Trust me even without any economy barriers, we love to see people visiting our country and specially sousse, i do welcome anyone that does visit and help even with advice!

The ancient city of Sousse, Phoenician Hydromatoum and Roman Justina, is a historical city located in eastern Tunisia. The city was founded as a Phoenician colony in the 11th century BC. The city reached its peak under the Aghlabid state, when it became the main port of the state in the ninth century AD. The ancient city was registered on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1988.
I don't know if it's different in California or the west coast, but, here in on the east coast, we would call that a convenience store. Although, it's a very small convenience store.🤫
