What's the "paint" (coating) used to protect the lenses? Clear acrylic UV resin available to civilians (two component "2K spray paint") or something better/stronger (and only corporations can afford it)?
In our plant (where this video comes from) we're using two types of UV protecting lacquer - both of them are applied in special lacquering line as the thickness must be precise in order to get required results and avoid contamination etc. Then there's curing process. I've recently refurbished lenses on my private car and discussed with our lacquering specialist possibility of using the same lacquer type as we use in our company but he refused it straight away as it's not possibe to apply it without special tools / machines.
