I started doing the Finnish course on Duolingo so I could maybe understand some of what's going on during Finnish coverage. Felt very good when after Hanna's first shot I understood what Seppo said, "todella hyvä." Everything else though....still wildly lost. LUL.

@ReinZ_96 'Very good' might indeed be a closer translation but 'very nice' is correct as well. 'Nice' would be translated as 'mukava' if one was talking about a person (or perhaps a really comfortable chair) but in this context 'nice' would definitely be 'hyvä'.
@Doug Dunfee The alphabet isn't that different, Finnish just has three added letters: å, ä and ö. Å is "Swedish O" and isn't used in Finnish (at least I can't come up with any cases off the top of my head).
Thank you for answering my question that I didn't ask. Was wondering what language they were speaking. I had a foreign exchange student come stay at my house when we were both kids. It was a great experience. My heritage is from this part of the world. 😁
