      Right. Are these males attractive for their age? Nope. They make it a part time job to insult women over 30 because we are the hardest women to get. A lot of men don’t want a 21 year old gf but they have no choice bc a beautiful successful 30 or 40 something woman won’t even look at them.

    • @TheePrincessBrat
      @TheePrincessBrat 5 місяців тому

      @@jeromehenry4484 this was her first period, there’s no established cycle so there’s no way anyone would’ve known. And a lot of girls cycles are irregular for awhile after they get their first period.
      I got my first period in the middle of lunch time during middle school. I didn’t even notice until later and got freaked out. I was lucky that a friend let me borrow their sweater to tie around my waist. I went to the nurse for a pad.
      He doesn’t say in the story whether he discouraged her from contacting her mom or not, or whether she was even reachable or not. We don’t know what kind of work she does.
      And it really doesn’t matter. *He* was the parent that was there. He’s not a babysitter, he’s her father and grown adult. He could’ve figured it out by coming on Reddit (like he just did) or calling a woman he knows or calling her pediatrician. Who would you blame if mom wasn’t in the picture at all?

    • @Sleipnirseight
      @Sleipnirseight 4 місяці тому +8

      Yup. This is why you don't raise children with toxic people. You're making their adult lives much harder as they grew up learning that feeling neglected or ab'used was normal. And when they meet people who are genuinely caring and nice, it will feel icky and foreign. Stop doing this to your kids, people.

I took this for years until one day I shot back at him, "and a good father WANTS his daughter to KNOW she is smart. What does that make you." In a lot of cases fathers groom their daughters to accept negging as normal joking behavior. It would make me angry as a little girl when I would see him make sexist jokes at my mother's expense. As someone who's pushing 60 and has been largely 4B-ing it for the past 11 years, I really REALLY hope younger women understand what a gift they're being given through social media channels like these.
    I wish I could go back and tell my 20something self: "It's NOT YOU! It's THEM!" On some level I must have known though because I never allowed myself to get completely trapped and dragged down by a man...but I still went through YEARS of wondering what was wrong with me. It didn't help that I was surrounded by women-hating women who weren't interested in supporting each other.

    In Dinè (Navajo) culture a girls first period is a huge deal for the community. She’s considered very special at that time and her relatives, especially fathers, put together a whole ceremony that lasts for days. I went to a cousin’s kinaalda once (I didn’t have one) and there was a medicine man, a feast with a butchered sheep, and because she’s in such a transformative stage she’s able to bless others. People bring little kids so she can “stretch” them so they grow tall. And put their car keys and wallets in front of her while she’s being sung over.
    She also has to run before dawn each day and others with run with her for support, including her father.

    At this point, I'm comfised because If I'm not your cup of tea, why are you in my space. So at this point I decided to view this as a science experiment and literally let him talk, which he did for the next 30 minutes. All while his voluminous belly and flabby arms were on display.
    He ended this by saying that we seem like very similar people and he hopes we run into each other again on our stay at the hotel. Just a bizarre situation.

    I don't have many negging experiences, but my most recent was from a man I dated on the app (Hinge). He used to always call my boobs small and say they wouldn't "be fun" (I never took him to bed and never planned to). After my patience ran thin with him I started returning the favorite because I no longer liked him. The following time when he brought up my small boobs I asked him if the reason he had a bird chest was because he was in the Airforce. He was a slimmer guy and didn't have much muscle to him. He didn't talk to me for a couple of days and when he finally called he said we haven't talked because he felt some "tension" between use the last time we talked and that I was being "combative". If you cant take the heat stay out of the kitchen I am an undercover Chef my guy. Law of reciprocity. He's blocked now.

    This also reminds me of the guy who called me fat, hurt my feelings then cried when I broke up with him and chases me down every time I see him.
    Actually, I have one of these for damn near everybody I dated. Yuck, and this is why I don't feel like I'm losing anything by giving up on them.

    My husband started the day with gifts from him and our infant son. (Including jewelry)he took me out to brunch with our family. Not gonna lie the day was rough cause our infant refused to nap well -which i think might have been cause i had coffee with breakfast.
    My husband then picked up dinner (which he ordered) for dessert we had homemade from scratch cheesecake which he made on Friday so it would have time to set up in the fridge.
    Then once the baby was finally asleep. He had gotten the stuff to make a photo album as a quality time activity. And we spent an hour selecting photos for it.

    I also recall him running out of my doctors appointment when I was a little girl. I guess he couldn't handle it.
    3. Idk if BURB said it...but can "negging" come from parents, too? If so, my "father" certainly did that.

      Does RSD mean something different to RSD Nation? Because among ADHD and autistic circles it means Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria 😂 which would be such an ironic acronym for a dating/pick up advice community.

    Mother's Day: ma'am, you are a married single mom. If no one told you this yet, let this be my PSA for you. You are a married single mom.
    Period story: as someone who lost my mom at 10, my first period (at 12) was just as bad. I had to figure stuff out on my own, because I don't have any mom that I can wait to come home and be my safe space. I got through it, but I wouldn't wish that experience even on people I hate. 😵

Second story is atrocious, the OP is certainly not the ah, but her husband is a POS!! I would suggest not doing anything on Mother's Day, no dishes, don't pick up trash/toys/etc, do NOTHING! To hell w/his wack a$$ feelings! I would suggest taking that whole day for yourself, go to your favorite restaurant, schedule a massage or spend time w/family and friends or go to a movie, I would spend a period of time from the home, AND treat him the EXACT same way he treated you on Father's day!! Third story is ridiculous, Dude, how long have you been w/your wife, to not know how to take care of your daughter during her first period? He sounds useless in this aspect!!! HIs wife was right to tear into him when she got home, its' like really? You couldn't at least look up online to see how to soothe her symptoms? What a bum!! He made this a day his daughter will never forget, and not in a good way!!

    I was shopping at a comic book store, just catching up on Batman's latest and this neckbeard decided to try to quiz me about Batman. Bro didn't even know how many Robins there'd been and tried to argue with me about it. His coworker started laughing at him and told him he was wrong, and he tried to play it off as just testing me, and I just told him that I wouldn't buy anything unless the other worker did my transaction. He was all huffy and glaring at me till I bought my stuff and left. His coworker apologized for his bs. For a split second, I was tempted to flirt with him just to be petty, but I had places to be.

    My male neighbor does this. He always has something negative to say about me but then on several occasions asked me why I just don't give into him. Give in to what? I've been cured of that struggle love indoctrination. It reminds me of a verse from Meghan (not a fan), "I spared his feelings, now he thinks he hurt mone." Even without the comments, I'm insulted he thinks my standards are so low to do anything beyond saying "hello" or throwing my hand up. Now, I don't speak to him at all. Lesson learned.

    One really good thing that has come out of this ongoing pandemic for me and my family is that I put the store apps on both our phones and when we each see something that needs to be added to the groceries we can each do it from our own phones. We just check in with each other before I put the order in and schedule the curbside pickup. No more keeping a list or him telling me we need stuff. Not having to go into the stores and spend hours shopping every week at all the different stores has freed up so much time for us. I don't ever want to go back.

    Oh dang I talked about the negging I've experienced from an ex on the last video about it, but this one just reminded me of the types of negging I got from a different ex. I had forgotten about the dumb mess he'd say but now that I remember it it has me laughing. 😂
    He also did the one about my breasts, about how they were "bigger than they needed to be, but it was okay, he liked me anyway." He'd also do the same thing and test me about nerd stuff (thinking I'd call Link "Zelda," and other similar things). So to get back at him I would ask questions I already knew the answer to repeatedly to get on his nerves, things like "Babe, what's the difference between Star Wars and Star Trek? And what's the difference between Guardians of the Galaxy and Battlestar Galactica?? They all seem the same to me . 😩" It drove him crazy and the payback felt good. 😆
    But the one I got the most started out like this "I'm not usually attracted to white girls, but you're okay for one of them." This was coming from a white bread a$$ man. And it was always "God, white girls are so annoying. White girls are so basic. White girls talk too much. White girls aren't interesting at all, blah blah blah" And of course he's allowed to have his preference and all, but all that time I was trying to figure out what set him apart and made him so much more special and interesting than other whities? Like?? When he started another one of those rants one day I cut him off and asked "If you hate white women so much, please tell me why you're with one?" To which I received no response. He just sat there and wouldn't look at me. So I broke up with him not long after.
