- In this video I demonstrate my own programmed presets and also one or two factory presets. I played them mainly in DUAL MODE, so I used two presets and layered them. I recorded them via both output pairs for upper and lower sound directly in the audio interface without additional processing or FX. The SUPER GEMINI is a very flexible and great sounding hybrid synthesiser with a lot of insane performance and live tweaking possibilities. You can use up to 8 pedals, the touch strip and a poly aftertouch keyboard for multiple routings. Thanks for watching this video, hope till the ende, because it is quite long.
This is by far the best demonstration of the super Gemini I have heard. Thank you very much great playing!!
Thank you so much!
Agreed. Cemented my purchase of the synth. I hope you'll make the patches available to purchase also!
I’ve had mine a month now and wow, what an amazing experience. I’m predominantly a guitarist but love to tinker with synths and now have Super Gemini, Jupiter X, pro 3, SE-02, JU-06A and a TR-8S. I love the interface on the Gemini, it encourages you to experiment.
Thanks Rudiger, what a great demo
Excellent demonstration.
Thanks a lot
great sounds ... the Gemini is definitely in my Top 4 of current production polysynths (with the Melbourne Nina, 3rd Wave, and Arturia Polybrute)
De+ né?! 😅 beautful sound
I played it at Superbooth last year and was completely carried away by the amazing sounds you can get out of it. Great video, Rüdiger!
Thanks, Bernd. It’s a very creative instrument and perfect for live playing
AWESOME!!!! Later this year I'll be selling my Super 6 for the Gemini. I just need to heal up first, as I've done nothing musically in months now due to pain injuries. Keep up the fantastic work, Rüdiger! :)
Thank you so much, Sean. I have the same decision, I still have my super 6 and I struggle to buy a super Gemini. It’s really an amazing synthesizer . I just had it here for a review. I wish you all the best and get well soon without any pain.
Absolutely beautiful sounding synth. Love your playing abilities and the programs you have made for the Super Gemini. I just pulled the trigger on one this past Friday and can hardly wait to get and do some sonic exploration.
Thank you very much. Have much fun and inspiration with your Super Gemini!
Great show of what the super Gemini can do. Thank you for the video, and I really appreciate when people do not play chariots of fire. 😂
Amazing.
Really liked the sound at 09:51.

Nice 😊😊
Hi. What is your felling between Gemini and Modal 002/008? I have money for one of these. Thanks
👌💪
Ist dir was aufgefallen?
Wunderest tag fur dich!
I would like to ask about keybed/action.. How does the polyaftertouch react and feels? Is it similar to Hydrasynth or Waldorf (smooth response through whole action) or more like what Behringer did with UBXa (and how actual classic CS-80 behaves) with "wall" before transition to aftertouch expresivity. Thank you!
I find it nicer than the Hydrasynth key bed. The Gemini uses the new Fatar poly aftertouch keybed. It is a slightly heavy synth action with nice travel, no noise or clicks when keys are pressed hard or soft. It is a pleasure to play and the poly aftertouch velocity curve is very smooth.
@@BubbleFilms Thank you very much! Thats great to read.
Apologies if you mention this in the video and I missed it, but are you using any external effects?
There are only the internal delay and sometimes internal chorus from the super Gemini. No external fx used.
I really want to buy this but I feel I’d get confused on stage without some type of screen letting me know which patch I’m on, dealing with 10-20 songs
Yes exactly, not being able to see the patch name is confusing. Also when you try to modify an existing patch, there’s no easy way to see which modulations are programmed in the modulation matrix. They have a system where you press a sequence of buttons and some leds will flash and by counting the number of flashes it will tell you the source, destination and amount of a specific modulation slot. I get that there’s no menu diving but having to learn key combinations to make the synth spit out some sort of Morse code to tell you which modulation is programmed in a modulation slot is not an improvement over menu diving.
definitely a stay at home/studio synth.
Nah, just not for you
@@Farold_Haltermeyer It’s perfect for my studio, decided to pull the plug
@@Mercy_Pants soz, was responding to the others :) So how are you getting on with it?
