I just went there tonight. Might not be for everyone, but my friend and I were definitely entertained. I think what makes the difference is the love of the puppeteers for their craft, which really shows. I also enjoyed the throwback feel of the theater. Unfortunately, you won't be able to see the Bob Baker Marionettes in their original theater for much longer, they are out of there in 2019. The good news is they will still be performing in other theater around LA like the Pasadena Playhouse, until they find a new permanent home.
