Great to see this review. We have the 2021 model with stable door and Truma ultra heat as an option which for us made it the perfect van. Love the large lounge area. Bed really big and comfy, my partner is 6’2’ and it’s far better for him than the island beds. The clever little design feature we love is the shower curtain has a little pump up inner tube running through the middle which holds it away from your body and gives you a lot more room. Really pleased to hear you liked the van
Very nice van! Price is fine by today's standards! I love everything about it, the lounge, kitchen and bedroom! Not bothered about the sink being where it is, nice big sink which I like. Bathroom is fine, shower curtain goes right round, I would give this one a 9/10! Great review, thank you for highlighting this one! I approve!! Hugs xxx
Thanks Karina. That’s a really helpful review. I’ve been looking at British caravans but keep coming back to concerns about the build quality. You’ve done a great job of setting out the advantages and disadvantages of this model, which has really impressed me. I hope they have it at the NEC in October so we can have a proper look.
Thank you Pat.. Knaus have a good stand at the NEC so there should be plenty of models to look at. If you ever need any advice just email me at herewetow@yahoo.com 😊
I love this.. I see why people worry about the door on that side as we don’t see many people touring in them to see how they work. You would be great to show this and that would give other people confidence to move away from the U.K. manufacturers. Thanks for a detailed review as always Lou x
Thank you for the tour. I do live a U shaped lounge, however also agree with comments about the kitchen sink position being really strange. I would be a nightmare and get everywhere soaking! Thank you for an excellent tour 💕
We have a Knaus Sport 400 LK, slightly smaller than the model shown in this video but otherwise very similar. It's lovely. Very solid, quality feel inside and out. Light and easy to tow. Comfortable seating that converts to decent beds (with Duvalay travel toppers for a bit of extra comfort). The door being on the 'wrong' side is not an issue for us, but we tend to use the motor mover to position 'nose in' on traditional British sites. We don't miss having an oven as we never actually bothered with the oven in British caravans we previously owned. We take the RidgeMonkey Compact Connect XL with us to make toasted sandwiches and/or sometimes take a Remoska with us if we want an oven.
Thank you, it was nice to get back in to a European caravan..and yes, the microwave height may be a bit if a challenge for some. Have a lovely weekend 😊 Karina
OMG, I thought Karina was about to start cooking😎😎. When we renovated our bathroom, we used the Adria Action bathroom as our main bathroom for a month, surprisingly not a problem. Personally, I like a stable door as we have a dog. The door being on the RHS, half the time ok but not really. Adria brings caravans into Australia with the door on the LHS so it is possible. I'd only consider it if I was planning to tour in Europe. I have a $50 free-standing induction hob from Ikea between that an electric kettle & the toaster oven from Aldi + an external BBQ we almost never use the gas hob. As others have said the microwave is in a very silly place. Overall a nice van.
Thank you for watching Bernie.. I wouldn’t subject anyone to my cooking! 😂 We always used a Cadac for gas cooking outdoors but then with the Motorhome we swopped to the electric teppanyaki which is excellent. We use it at home now. Have a fantastic weekend 😊 Karina
I do like the van, but I think they have put the sink the wrong side of the hob . No were to put a drainer and I think I would splash anyone sitting in the lounge when I was washing up lol. Thanks for sharing👍 Mark & Coral
This is something that annoyed me at first. But I bought a micro fibre draining mat and if I want to wash up before the hob is dry I use that on the table, it’s no problem
Great review (as always). Pre Pandemic, I imagine this would be a lot more popular than it may be is now, as you say, the bathroom is the compromise and most people barely used the on board facilities before covid, the fixed bed seems very long (my feet used to touch the bottom in our French Bed Bailey and do in my Island bed swift - I’m only 5ft 11!), the kitchen wouldn’t bother me either, we mainly eat out or BBQ apart from the odd ping meal for the little one, obviously, the best bits are the price, weight and that living area - I imagine those three alone may be enough to persuade plenty to buy one of these, as you said - certain parts of this caravan put the British manufacturers to shame!
Hiya... saw some of this make of van at the Camping and Motorhome show at the NEC in Spring... I thought the build quality was dreadful and wouldn't go near one.... great vid though ... love Paolo and Roger aka 'The Camp Caravanners'
Thanks for watching Paolo and Roger.. I am surprised by that.. but shame it left you with that impression. Have a fantastic weekend whatever your plans 😊 Karina
Why bunch the tiny sink up at one end (with no drainer) when there’s all that work top room? There’s room for dedicated drainer etc and move it all a foot or so back to create room nearer the lounge
Thanks for watching David.. I hadn’t even seen it like that, I would put my drainer on the hob lid like I did in the Adria and then I would have all that worktop space. I like how we all see things differently like that..have a good weekend 😊 Karina
You’ve seen me in the kitchen.. 🤷🏼♀️😂 It’s neither.... Im just excited to see somewhere to put my kettle and cut cake. Hope you are enjoying your weekend 😊
Interesting to see the Knaus but the bedroom/bathroom spoilt it for me, nowhere to put your cuppa tea in bed and a little cramped. Looked like it was quite wide when you were sat the front. Not bothered which side the door is, as the sites we've been to don't mind which way round we park.

@@HereWeTow so far I couldn’t recommend it enough. Brilliant van

Thanks Anne.. 👍 Have a lovely Sunday and hope all is well with you 😊
That front lounge is great and the kitchen work space is very appealing. Good payload and alot of caravan for the money really. 👍
Thanks for watching 😊

Hi Karina , nice to see you reviewing a totally different van for a change .
Thank you, it was nice to get back in to a European caravan..and yes, the microwave height may be a bit if a challenge for some. Have a lovely weekend 😊 Karina

@@HereWeTow but I would need sink drainer and hob in use all at the same time, it’s not either or
I’m a messy cook…!

and why does it need 3 burner on the hob too? i use 1 at home 2 at a push. Id rathe it be fully worktop and a surface induction hob.
Thanks for the video
Thank you for watching 😊

Strange height for the microwave ? i would've thought that this could be on the bench .
It’s great there as easy to access and saves worktop space 😃
