Very nice van but gorgeous wears earrings, glasses and messes shorts up. You guys look like you are having so much fun in this. You guys also make a wonderful, fun, energetic couple made for one another. Thanks for sharing. Y'all keep doing what you do. Thx Ray New subscriber
What an awesome comment, Ray! Thanks so much for those words, made me smile! this should be encouragement for us to edit the 10 videos we have filmed awaiting completion. Thank you for watching :)
Aw thank you so much! I am so glad you can tell we are being authentic - definitely don't ever want to become the type of people who do things for reasons that aren't genuine. Just being ourselves in all our videos and it's so nice when kind people like you take the time to comment! Thanks for watching!!!
WTF! I found your video just by clicking through some videos of converted cars and camper vans and I fell in love instantly. You guys are so symphatic and when you watch the video you notice so fast that you love your life... Just Wow! So much Love! And well done so far! Where do you have all of this know-how? very big like guys. Keep on!
Thanks so much Donni! We really loved building the van. Even though at times it made us want to pull out hair out LOL. It has been the best thing that we could do for ourselves because it made us view things like travelling, money and life differently. We gathered so much information and knowledge from youtube and the internet, that's why the van life community is so great. The carpentry work was relatively easy for me because I have some experience with building but the ELECTRICAL SUCKED! That took up so much time but I did learn a lot which is important still. Thanks for watching the vids!
Same here with the electric stuff :D I don't really know something about it, so I'm a little bit afraid about it. But yeah, you're right - you learn a lot if you have to teach yourself from the internet, youtube and so on. The carpentry work is much more my favourite, too :D This year I'm gonna start to build my own camper van. I hope I'll do this as well as you did! :) Do you just have this camper now or do you even hold another vehicle(s)?
I’m sure you will do a great job Donni! We only have the van for transportation coming from Canada we haven’t needed another vehicle. Thanks so much for watching!!!
Very impressive result :) In the Ti community going mobile is considered a more serious option for survival , usually the costs are prohibitive tho ! You proved that doesn`t have to be the case.
Aw thanks so much! That's nice of you to say. We are happy with how she turned out and in our How much did it cost video? It helped us learn how much we put into it and are happy with the end result. Thanks so much for watching :)
Incredible job! I am super impressed. - I just want an elevated bed that I can store gear and bikes under, and a heater in my Sprinter Passenger Van. Seems daunting at the moment.
I hear ya, there were a lot of moments before and during the build where I wondered what the heck did we get ourselves in to! Just got to remember that nothing is permanent and you can always change or fix something that doesn't work for your and just get started! Just start with something small like cleaning it out or putting in a subfloor and it will help to push you on once you see progress happening! I saw a video where people made a bed that could be raised an lowered, it was sick! Sometimes though just simple designs work just as well and you won't want to pull your hair out on little details lol. Good luck with your build!
Great build! Not sure how long-term this van will be, but be careful with the glass pack insulation you have going on in your van. Condensation can build up on the exterior metal panels causing the fiberglass packing to get wet = mould. There are other alternatives to glass pack such as foam/expandable foam, but remember that a van isn't a house, so not all the same things work.
Wooow ! I like it ! I love the wood, not so expensive and beautiful, natural... Give us advice on our first video ! We are renovating our trailer/tiny house
Hahaha I know right - sense the sarcasm there! There is quite a bit of saturation but for us we just wanted to do it anyone even if no one watched it. Sorry if you thought it was a bore 🙈
How to did u manage to clean sink drainage in this van? How do u clean sink wastage and where are let out holes? How to manage washrooom drainage and let out in such vans?
We have a basic system with a gray water jug under the sink that we empty with a quick connect hose that we remove to clean! The toilet we haven't set up but it's sealed and you have to dispose this black water waste at a designated dumping site. The toilet uses chemicals and special toilet paper that dissolves. Thanks so much for watching :)
This is a great video. I live in Australia too, I attempted to convince my partner to live in a van but he wasn't convinced haha. Would love to see a video on the costs of this build. Overall and a breakdown, electricity, the van itself, the tools required etc.
Thanks so much for watching! Keep trying, sometimes it takes a while to break them down. We have been meaning to make one of the costs but have had some other things on the go. Hopefully soon and let us know if we can answer any specific questions!
Hey thanks so much, glad that you like it! I had cut and screwed curved pieces of wood along the ceiling metal ribs for something to nail the pine ceiling into (so I didn't nail into metal) and then that also doubled as something structural to screw the cabinets up to the ceiling. If you go to 12:00 of this video ua-cam.com/video/q9HLxt87QC8/v-deo.html it shows how I put the ceiling in. Thanks!
Hahah i know it's all relative, right. After winter in Canada when it's 0 degrees it feels so warm, but we haven't lived there for 2 years and I get chilly easy. After spending so much time in SE Asia, I was wearing PANTS at 21 in the evening because the daytime temps were mid-to-high 30s. I am a bit extreme, i know lol! Thanks for watching :)
Different countries and areas have their own guidelines but in Australia you are supposed to have an inspection and notify the registry, that’s why I got the electrical portion certified so that I wouldn’t have any issues. The majority of their guidelines revolve around safety such as LPG gas and structural changes to the vehicle/windows and seat belts etc. Thanks so much for watching
G'day! Awesome and thanks so much for watching! We actually will be doing an expenses video and how much it cost in the coming weeks so stay tuned! Thanks again, cheers
Thanks for the response. I'd like to use insulation but it seems here there are not many options. I am looking for a thin effective material. Thanks for sharing.
Nice build! Did you all have a whole month of "free" time to work on it? Our build is progressing slowly since we're dealing with snow and below freezing temps.
Yes we did in fact have a whole month free haha. Since we had just arrived in Australia and were doing a house sit for 30 days that was the only time that we had to complete the build. We did it all with borrowed tools as well so if we didn't have it done we would have been building it in the hardware store parking lot haha! Best of luck on your build, props to you guys who are doing it in your free time and in the winter :)
You shouldnt put wool directly on the walls if theres a chance of using the van in colder climate, there will be moisture inside the walls from condensation
Hopefully we don’t have to go to colder climates, but thanks so much for the tip! Will definitely keep it in mind for next time! Thanks for watching :)
Definitely couldn't have done it without her. No way would I have had the patience to sand, stain and pain all that wood, it's not my thing lol. Also I probably would have drove the van off a cliff on a few occasions after smashing or crushing my fingers if she wasn't there to calm me down haha.
Hi Audrey! It used to be on artlist but unfortunately don’t remember the name of it anymore and can’t seem to find it. So sorry, wish we could have helped you out more! Lots of love, Kristyn & Joe
ppl getting to ask questions on the comments section... because thr’s little explanation on how the job was done, rather the video was more about the couple’s (goofing around).
This was a highlight reel of our 4 part build series which goes more in depth on the build from start to finish so feel free to check that out 👍 If you had anything specific you would like to know as well feel free to ask ☺️
Somewhat similar to that couple Eamon and Bec van-design however there are only so much layouts you can do with the space. Looks great guys! Question: How are you two liking the partition you've created separating your home from the cab? Pros/Cons? Thanks for sharing your work :) Happy travels
スクエアクマ Sqrb3ar yea we loved their build! Like most people we got so many ideas off researching other UA-cam builds and added some of our own ideas or improvements. We actually love the little partition to the cab. It’s allowed us to have a side wall for the kitchen as well as a space for our porta potti while still allowing us to jump straight from the cab to the back. This has been good for stealth camping and it closes off the area for sleeping. I would say a con is that if you wanted to MAXIMIZE the kitchen space then you could close it off completely but honestly we are finding that we have enough counter space especially with our pull out cooker top so the benefit of being able to climb straight from the cab is a big plus. Thanks for watching!!
You guys did a nice job however I’m looking for ideas to make my vehicle look more like a Space ship instead of n old fashioned room. I’m thinking “advanced tec”/ ufo type stuff
James Metalarc maybe you could get those glow in the dark stars and stick them on your ceiling?? Haha that sounds awesome! I’m guessing White flexible panels inside to give it a more rounded look?
The Wandering Wagners on I have a giant flip down monitor on my ceiling in the rear that is connected to an exterior camera mounted on the roof rack pointed skyward so when the screen is folded against the ceiling it also acts as a second moon roof . So no need for glow in the dark stars lol
The Wandering Wagners well the whole ideah is that you people are the next step in human evolution. Like our “ufo” brothers who pretty much live in vessels ,we are headed that direction. I think that it is better that we let go of the old way all together and completely adopt the change . I’ve seen folks put a house furnace in their vehicles. Put up wooden walls like they are in a rolling log cabin ,This is still thinking backwards. Let go of the House dude , that thing was a slave shackle anyway and a thing of the past and completely embrace innovation. Think of a new way to heat your new living quarters. Let go of the piles of clothing and find one or two characterized personality multi purposed outfits . Something that can be worn for a week straight if needed and can be wiped clean with a towelettes. Something that looks like Star Trek or what you would wear in heaven . Something that represents humanity as a species stepping into a new era to stand next to our pleadian brothers and sisters on a star deck or earth deck. I’ve seen videos of folks teaching other folks how to live in teepees and lighting fires with two sticks, “f “ that cave man stuff dude ! We are of a much more advanced era. Get a zippo . Stock pile water proof matches that light off anything. We are much more advanced that two sticks .We as Americans have fought wars against so called primitive peoples who actually built a network of underground cities dude. I’m talking hospitals and villages under ground. They didn’t sleep in no friggin teepees? And they recycled what ever they could salvage and re used it against their invaders and won the war. That is a part of our past as primitive yet effective. We are far beyond that now . I haven’t had time to make a video of what I’ve done, but you people have caught my attention so there is my contribution.
We built thin wood framing against the metal frame of the van so that we could nail the wood paneling to that frame. Episode 1 of our build series should show this. Thanks so much for watching :)
Hehehe aw that's so sweet of you. I definitely agree. My husband keeps getting better with age! Thanks for watching and I'll let him know you said so :)
There's a couple of soundtracks in there but I'm going to guess that you're looking for the second one?? It's called: 1 - 24 by Tomer Ben Ari - Going South. Thanks for watching!
Yea that was the good neighbor in me...until I realized that we had like no time left to finish the van so they are just going to have to sit an listen to me metal cutting lol
We were totally inspired by them and by you guys! Definitely got so many great ideas from Eamon & Bec and from UA-cam community. Wish we had as big of a van but had to make due with a smaller one lol. Love both of your channels and are excited about your Mexico adventures, that's going to be such a blast! Can't wait for more vids, we'll be watching :)
you should do detailed tutorials for plumbing and electrical. you would save my life.
Very nice van but gorgeous wears earrings, glasses and messes shorts up. You guys look like you are having so much fun in this. You guys also make a wonderful, fun, energetic couple made for one another. Thanks for sharing. Y'all keep doing what you do.

You two are adorable and so much more authentic than so many others doing similar things. Happy trails.

Legit SQUEALED with glee when you demonstrated the rolling cabinet drawer - WELL DONE!! Love what you guys are up to, and all your innovative details!
I know and it worked perfectly first try! Couldn't believe it haha. Thanks so much and we appreciate you watching!
I love seeing fellow Canadians do awesome things.
Hey that's awesome you're watching! Represent the Canadian out here in Australia!
Oh yes! Someone new and exciting! The beginning is always the most exciting, happy travels!
I know it's so exciting, the journey is better than the destination, as long as you can take time to enjoy the view. Thanks so much for watching!
You guys are nuts and i love it. Awsome job and will be watching more vids. Keep up the good work.
Glad you approve of our nutty-ness. So glad you will be watching more and hope you keep enjoying them. Thanks so so much for watching :)
Your pet sheep is lovely.
He is so adorable and was a great dog at a housesit we were at where we built the van!!! Thanks for watching :)
Absolutely FANtastic!!! GREAT JOB!!! Wish you guys all the luck, joy and happiness 😃
So kind of you to say! Thanks so much and thank you for watching. All the luck joy and happiness right back at you!!
i love that you guys documented the entire process! super cool. super helpful. ✌🏼
Filming the whole process was half the fun for us! Great memories for us to look back on. Thanks for watching

@@TheWanderingWagners Wagners great advice. It worked for me. Just focus on 1 small task at a time otherwise it can be overwhelming.

Nice and clean build I love it specially the covertible bed. Great job and you guys are funny. Thanks for sharing.
Bo C thank you and we’re glad that you like it! The bed is our favorite part, serves it’s function perfectly for us in such a small space.
You guys are hilarious. Canadian! Also, such a well done job dudes. Just missin an extra large double double haha
Thanks so much :) There certainly isn't any Tim Hortons in sight in Australia lol, perhaps I could open the first one! lol
Wow ! Love the van build & your personal energy. Sub'ed

Looks great you guys!! Awesome build video can't wait for the tour!
Melissa Mirto thanks and we’re glad you enjoyed it! Van tour is coming soon! 👍
*super cool*
Australia is an amazing place you know you can go to a beach every day for like 27 years true fact
Omg so think that’s my favourite fact that I have ever heard about Australia! Thanks for that and for watching :)
Awesome video. Looking forward to your exciting adventure.
Thanks for following along!!
Lo hacéis muy bien, todo me gusta mucho. si algún día queréis venir por España solo tenéis que avisarme.
Nos encantaría venir a España, estamos practicando nuestro español. Muchas gracias por mirar!
Very nice work , great job .
Thank you so much and thanks for watching :)
loves this couple!
that's so sweet of you, thanks so much! And thanks for watching :)
The Wandering Wagners hi...from bali my friend!!!!!!
Hi hi back from Bali, what a beautiful place - we enjoyed our visit 2 years ago!
I've installed so many sliders, never had one actually soft close correctly.
Awesome! Love this video!
So sweet of you to say thanks so much!
You’re welcome! Have an awesome amazing day :)

Super plan.
Thank you so much Satheesha :)!
dose that caging behind the driver/passenger seat come with every Mercedes sprinter? looking to purchase some similar for a 2004 ram 2500
Great job. We converted a Cargo trailer into a tiny house.
Thanks wicked! A cargo trailer would be perfect, then you can tow it if you want or unhook and explore as well, awesome!
We did finally make a video on the cost!!! ua-cam.com/video/JM9MjoVAxf8/v-deo.html in case you still were curious!!
thank you, i'll check it out! :)
Hello dear...
Hey guys, nice work! How did you installed the cupboards in the roof corner? How have you connected all your furniture with the main car body? Thanks!
Thanks!
Nice build
So nice of you to say. Thank you for that and for watching :)
ha ha the low teens..... I was in shorts and t-shirt.... but thats running in the UK... (its warm for us) lol!
The Wandering Wagners no problem - keep it up - love the video
Cool! But one Q.: is it needed to legalize the rebuilded van at the authorities?
Different countries and areas have their own guidelines but in Australia you are supposed to have an inspection and notify the registry, that’s why I got the electrical portion certified so that I wouldn’t have any issues. The majority of their guidelines revolve around safety such as LPG gas and structural changes to the vehicle/windows and seat belts etc. Thanks so much for watching
Very cool!
Aw thanks so much!!! :)
What year is your Sprinter? What, if any, issues has it had?
It's a 2002. Hasn't had any issues. We have done some maintenance on her and got new tyres but she's been working good for us. Thanks for watching :)
G'day, from a fellow Canadian in Australia. Wondering about your budget. Have you posted anything sharing those details?
G'day! Awesome and thanks so much for watching! We actually will be doing an expenses video and how much it cost in the coming weeks so stay tuned! Thanks again, cheers
Amazing build! What are the crossbars that you're using on the roof?
Thanks for watching! The cross bars are 1800mm long rhino rack roof rack bars mounted onto rhino rack gutter mounts. Cheers!
Great vid! What's the original underlayment for the floor brand and description?
We used Ametalin reflective insulation from Bunnings in Australia and then plywood on top of that! Thanks so much for watching :)
Thanks for the response. I'd like to use insulation but it seems here there are not many options. I am looking for a thin effective material. Thanks for sharing.
How much was the total cost of the conversion and the van? If you don’t mind answering me question I would appreciate it much. Thanks
Hi there! We did make a video about it: ua-cam.com/video/JM9MjoVAxf8/v-deo.html
But if you don’t want to watch I can tell you :)
Nice Vid. I have the same Van... can ou tell me how long the bed is? I guess 160cm?
Awesome! So the double mattress is 74 “/ 187 cm so the frame is a bit wider than that to fit the mattress! Hope that helps! Yay for the same van :)
So creative
Glad you think so! Thanks so much for watching!
Awesome 😍🙌🏼
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.
HOW MANY KMS HAD YOUR ST SPRINTER HAS I?
GOOD WAYS
When we bought it it was around 250,00 km and drove about 30,000+ km. Thanks for watching :)
“Two good reasons there.” Hahahahaha 😂😂 love it
LOL I mean nobody really wants to get electrocuted do they? haha
I lmao at "also cause i dont want to die!". Omg lol
awesome build. what's the song at 3:05 please!! mucho gracias
It's called "1 - 24 by Tomer Ben Ari - Going South" - Thanks for watching!
Nice build! Did you all have a whole month of "free" time to work on it? Our build is progressing slowly since we're dealing with snow and below freezing temps.
Yes we did in fact have a whole month free haha. Since we had just arrived in Australia and were doing a house sit for 30 days that was the only time that we had to complete the build. awesome video guys :) Wishing to do the same for long time, but didn't had the guts for it yet :P
Thank you so much! Yes, it does take some time to get there. Just keep taking steps moving towards it and you will get there! Thanks for watching
The first song is unreal man! Could I please have the name?
I found it on Artlist, its called Appearing - A Look Out if you wanted to look it up!
awesome work and your girl too cute, also wow fiinish putting the solar panels b4 the rain that was funny.
Thank you, yes she is pretty darn cute. As you can tell I was so stoked to have finished that just in time!
Just knew the man was building everything "they" built..
Definitely couldn't have done it without her. No way would I have had the patience to sand, stain and pain all that wood, it's not my thing lol. Also I probably would have drove the van off a cliff on a few occasions after smashing or crushing my fingers if she wasn't there to calm me down haha.
I don't want to die. Yeah i feel you
Pretty basic concept but I feel that it's the most important to...you know, living lol
Could you please tell me the name of the song at 7:00? I tried the song recognition apps and searched Artlist, but had no luck at finding it. Thanks!
Hi Audrey! It used to be on artlist but unfortunately don’t remember the name of it anymore and can’t seem to find it. So sorry, wish we could have helped you out more! Lots of love, Kristyn & Joe
What is the song the second song that you hear? It's really cool and my Siri can't find it....
the song is 1-24 by Tomer Ben Ari - Going South. Got it off Artlist!
The Wandering Wagners Thanks so much! Loved the design btw

The Wandering Wagners Thank you so much for the response, it shows a lot about you two! I look forward to learning more 😃
J.G. Conumdrum thanks so much for subscribing! Our van tour video is coming out in the next couple of days so stay tuned 😃
I like this video

Great job guys. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks so much and thanks for watching!

We were totally inspired by them and by you guys! Definitely got so many great ideas from Eamon & Bec and from UA-cam community.
