Arnold 4th of July Parade 2024 | Sierra Lodestar

The Arnold Independence Day Parade stayed with tradition in spite of the heat wave on Saturday, July 6. The procession started at 10 a.m. and traveled from the Arnold Byway to the Cedar Center Shopping Plaza. A large crowd braved the 100 plus degree weather to enjoy the annual, traditional, patriotic parade.
The event host, Jeanne Multhaup entertained the sweaty swarm of onlookers. Multhaup delighted the masses with dad jokes, and informed them with facts about the participants in the cavalcade.
The ultra charming, Arnold Independence Day Parade featured local businesses, vintage cars, emergency services, schools, and civil civic organizations. The grand finale of the promenade, and relief star of the show was a water truck that doused the roasted rabble.
The day of flag waving fun continued with the annual Sierra Nevada Arts and Crafts Festival. The festival highlights included local artists displaying their hand-crafted, unique work - and was a must see for art enthusiasts.
Specialty food, and an abundance of booths were featured at the Sierra Nevada Arts and Crafts Festival providing entertainment for all. Cedar Shopping Center in the heart of Arnold featured live music.
