I've got to ask, and I'm hoping some Sassuolo fans might answer.....why the empty stadium. If fans travelling from Palermo can almost match the Sassuolo fans behind the goal in number, then what is going so wrong? Surely, a team only a season out of Serie A aren't haemorrhaging fans that fast?
@77sasolNV surely though, when fans from Palermo are travelling from Sicily, and bringing what looked like more fans than the home side, who are only playing in Reggio Emilia, it's got to be brought up.
Sassuolo is a little town of 40..000 people and have normaly 3 or 4.000 supporter but in Mapei Stadium there are 22.000 people and is in Reggio Emilia no in Sassuolo, in Sassuolo the Stadium is Ricci with 4.000 people perfect to Sassuolo but not to play in serie A minimum 11.500 or B minimum 5.500.

@htt232101 Many Sicilians work in Emilia Romagna and they are nothing more than Sassuolo fans
