Leatrix Plus has Minimap Button Bag essentially already built in. Leatrix Plus menu > interface > check enhance minimap > click the cogwheel config for it and click combine addon buttons. Addon buttons will now show when you right click minimap.
im having an issue importing the plater profile. every time i copy past into the plater addon it gives me a message saying the link is incorrect. any ideas anyone?

Great video! I went and immediately copied the setup for myself and am having a blast. I do have one question though. How do you manage to see enemy castbars with NameplateSCT? I mean you personally, not like an addon function. Playing fury warrior, there are so many hits constantly popping up that I practically can't even see the castbars on the nameplates. Any advice?
It's usually because your resolution/aspect ratio is different from the person who you are trying to copy. If this happens, it's usually best to import the copy and then adjust it manually to fit.

As someone new to the game and just looking at creating my first UI I noticed that there are a lot of extras to some of these addons. For example if I search for "bigwig" there are 30 - 40 other options as well as what I assume is the main addon. Are these necessary for the addon to work correctly or should I just get the main addon and ignore the rest?
I don't think it's 30 options in the main addon - you have BigWigs for raid and little wigs for dungeons. And within BigWigs you have timers per expansion. You can turn off the ones you don't need (like wotlk BigWigs for example)

Using some of the weak auras also really helped me figure out ability priorities in a rotation. Loving the guides and the fact that you point out that numbers aren't everything! It is just a game after all, it should be fun!
Hey. Does the icon pack also automatically override the icons used for weak auras or I have to change something for weak auras as well? For me the icons on actionbars are higher quality than the ones on weak auras.
There are several rotation addons out there - Hero Damage or Hekili. I recommend only using them for a short time until you learn your rotation, and not fall back on those alone. Hekili is also pretty useful as a reminder for your dots that are about to fall off if you don't use other auras to show that
Hey bro, got a question, i downloaded your plater profile and have been using it slightly modified with bigger icons, but its too low on mobs' heads, how can i raise the nameplates higher?
He may feel confident enough in himself to not need the WA. I know some people master a class and make the rest of us look like crap. on my mage I never had issues with binds/abilities. Tried picking up rogue again and kept looking at bars.

I'm not currently using one, just simming when I get a new item, as my stats continue to change all the time with new loot, especially at the start of an expansion. You can use this at least until you find exactly what you want!
its a weak aura! called ultimate mouse cursor. i swear its the best thing ever, i had such a troubble finding my cursor in intense mythic+ keys. once i started using this i never went back!

Thanks for this update video on addons. I love Plater, i do have one question. I was used to Threat Platers and it is awesome to easily see exclamation marks above enemies and kill tracking for quests. This is now gone with Plater and as far as I see there is no way to get the same as Threat Plates. Anyone have tips?
@@spunda22 I actually found out that the mobs that you need to kill for quests have orange plates compared to regular mobs with red plates. That works for me :P

Can you type name of aura that set timers for boss mechanics and spells. Does it work only for raiding or m+ also? And you said it pulls info from dbm and wings, can I adjust Dbm without aura to do just that? Ty
It's mentioned at 2:44, it's called Raid Ability Timeline. It works for everything that DBM and Bigwigs work for, so yes, both M+ and raiding. I don't know about being able to adjust DBM to look exactly like that without the aura, but the aura would probably not exist if you could.
I love platers customization. But I ran into a problem. I've even set everything back to default, but it didn't help. Any target thats already a hostile one (opposing faction as well), their nameplate sits at their feet and doesn't move. It creates a huge mess on my screen. But if they are "neutral", their nameplate sits above them. I can't figure out how to fix this.... pls help

Hmm, didnt have an issue so far, but fury has many more hits tracked by the addon than Evoker, you can hide small hits with NSCT if you want

Hi I copied your profile on Plater and its great thank you! But for huge biss fights the nameplates keep going off the screen is there a fix for this?
i tried the Nameplate SCT and I couldnt see the cast bars in dungeons when there were a lot of mobs grouped up...maybe I did something wrong

Isn't rarescanner better for EVERYTHING to do with rares, treasures and such?
There are loads of addons dealing with the same things, it's a question of preference I guess.

I have the same issue, I have not found a way to turn this on in plater. Sucks to lose the functionality

There should be no issues as long as you keep them up-to-date! Fps drops may be experienced with large nr of addons on pcs that aren't very strong

not sure which addon they specifically use, but you can try TrufiGCD or streamer actions plugin in Details, they both look the same as in video
