I think this is amazing. One of my close friends had a spinal tumor that robbed her of mobility and put her in a wheel chair.. this could actually work!!! I just need to win the lottery so I can buy her one!!!

Gentlemen there are other actuators beside hydraulic, pneumatic and servo based. Imagine a material that is solid state and mimics muscle fibers. I give you electroactive polymers.
